The rooms are quite dirty with ants all over. The air conditioning was not really working. On departure they didn't have our passport at the guesthouse we were staying at, but in another branch of the guesthouse just 5 minutes from this. We almost missed our bus onwards because of this

If fully booked, they have another guesthouse with great rooms as well about 3 mn from the first one. The room is clean, comfortably and bathroom is nice. The laundry is doing properly ans smells like home ! The wifi is really good... More

Stayed two nights in a twin room on the 5th floor (no elevator). The room is very cheap so I didn't expect much: the room was very small, the beds where ok, there was hot water and a small fridge, but wasn't that clean. On the plus side, the service was great, with a lot of informations given by the... More

Thu Giang Guesthouse was our anchor during our travel through Vietnam, as we came back there for 3 times, and already at the second time we felt home there, because of the great support of Giang who was even sending my Jacket to another hotel in Saigon after I forgot it in the Guesthouse. the rooms were really nice, we... i have to praise this hotel as they have been extremely helpful with us, both in terms of information and lending us their hanoi map for a day. Rooms are very spacious, though basic, and it's conveniently located to explore the old quarter. Also, after buying a halong bay tour at another travelling office, and being somehow satisfied that we... More

The rooms are small, basic and can be a walk up - 9 rooms, only 2/floor. But the staff's English is perfect and helped in so many ways. I stayed only my first night in Vietnam, but used the hotel as a "base" the entire trip.

Arriving late with jetlag we had a small difficulty in finding the street ( due to being ignorant and walking with our map through the darkness of the night ). we expected a bigger doorway to enter the guesthouse but where very happy to reach it. For 7 dollars a night we had a private double room which was clean... More

The place is run by a woman called Giang and owned by her parents. We stayed there for four nights. The rooms are not the cleanest in town but they're cheap and we were ok with them. The main reason I would recommend going to this place is Giang. She is really nice, honest and speaks perfect English, virtues which... More
