The room is very small and old, the shower is not clean, my room was on 4 floor, and its almost impossible to get there with the bags. regretfully, I cant recommend the room, but the service is perfect, Vivian (place owners) is so helpful! She have a very good english And very good prices for attractions.

The place is run by a woman called Giang and owned by her parents. We stayed there for four nights. The rooms are not the cleanest in town but they're cheap and we were ok with them. The main reason I would recommend going to this place is Giang. She is really nice, honest and speaks perfect English, virtues which... More

It pains me to write this review because overall, the mother and the daughter who run this place are nice people. However, there are a few things that I thought needed mentioning. I do understand the budget traveler wanting to save $ at this hostel ($8-$10 with AC), however you can do much better than this for a few more... More

First of all In an quiet alley in the old quarter. Second and very importent, giang whom run the place speaks perfect english. She offer tours and after returen she asks how was it to get impruve. Once I had a bad expirience on sleeping bus and she phone the bus company to complain. The family are very nice and... More

The bed was comfy and the location was great! The real downside was all of the mold. Not only in the bathroom but also in the bedroom!! I only stayed here for one night, because of all the mold. Maybe the other rooms are cleaner, so make sure you check when you check in. The walls are really thin. I... More

We went to Thu Giang as we wanted a budget accommodation but not a hostel as we are a couple. The girl greeted us super friendly and spoke english perfectly! The room was big, nice and clean and only 10 USD. Furthermore we got all the information for the Boat tour in Halong Bay we wanted to do! Great value... More

The upside of this place is the location in the old part of Hanoi. The rooms are very small and the cleaning is average. Its a place thats definitively aimed at young travellers in a hurry to get to the next site on their 'Gringo Trail'. But ok for the price.

We came to the guest house because we heard that the trip deal are good. The deals were cheap and good and so was the family who owned the place. They were very helpful with getting around the city and out of it. Nonetheless we think that the family should put more attention to the cleaning of rooms. It's not... More

Stayed here a couple of nights prior to my trip to Sapa and fit my needs perfectly. Rooms are basic but clean with great hot shower and TV. The family that runs it is super friendly and very accommodating. They can help you book a trip, taxi or introduce you to some local culinary delicacies. Great value for the price!

We visited Hanoi 6 years ago and stayed at this guesthouse then and were very pleased, so decided to return. 6 years later, service is still great, but rooms are a but run down now. Very helpful family, arranged a few cab rides and told us where we could find the best food.
