This accomodation was one of the best in the whole our Vietnam experience. Kevin and the rest of the staff was so gentle and helpful. We felt very welcome, even because the hotel is located in the heart of Hanoi and also because it's a very clean place. Really hope to go back there one day.

I spent a total of three nights at this hotel. It's located in a great spot in the old quarter. The room was spacious and clean. But what really made my stay was the great staff; Kevin, Emily, and Candy. They were very helpful. My stay was extra pleasant due to their kindness.

From the minute we checked in the manager Kevin helped us to our room, he was very friendly and gave us lots of usual information on the sights to see around Hanoi. The room was clean, modern and we had a huge balcony overlooking the city. The location is great with lots of restaurants, bars and shops right on the... More

Staff are really friendly and happy to help with any problems. Rooms are a decent enough size but the room we had was really damp, anyone with asthma would of suffered for sure! Location is really central to everything. Breakfast was pretty bad but considering the price we paid $14 for 2 people it was all in all good value... More

We spent some time at the Asia Star Hotel during a recent trip to Hanoi. It was not a hotel we had chosen, but it was the Hanoi option that was arranged for us during a tour portion of the trip. I was not impressed. The front desk staff spoke very little English. I travel a lot, and I don't... More
