No better place to stay at if you want to be totally immersed the experience that is the Hanoi Old Quarter. Friendly and attentive staff. The room was good, neat and clean. Breakfast buffet had enough choices.

This hotel is in the old town but in close proximity to the lake, beer corner, walking street (only on weekends) and decent restaurants. Bathrooms were clean and had good amenities. We had the set dinner for our group on our first night and were amazed at the variety, presentation and quality of the meal which included a free beer.... More

Its located in the central part of the old quarter, very convenient to get to shops, restaurants and to Hoan Kiem lake. The room is good value. Better to stay in the new wing.I think the new wing rooms are Duluxe or Suite Rooms. Buffer breakfast is fine.

The first thing I look for in a hotel is a clean room, & this place was not that great when it comes to cleanliness - I stayed three nights in this hotel, in 2 separate rooms (I checked out in between to go on a cruise). The second room was upgraded to a "deluxe" room, which mainly means it... More

We stayed here twice. The first time was in a first floor room on the street - very noisy and avoid if you can. The second time was a nice quiet room up much higher. The rooms and bathroom are a decent size and clean. Breakfast was good. Wifi was very erratic in the rooms, but OK in common areas.... More

We recently stayed here as a family group. While the hotel made reasonable efforts to accomodate us, our rooms were on two seperate floors and were like chaulk and cheese. One room was small, dark and quite smelly. The other was much better but still reasonably cramped. The noise from nearby backpackers was also an issue but not the fault... More

This hotel is situated right in the Old Quarter. Yes it is noisy but if you are visiting to immerse yourself in the craziness of Hanoi you will not be disappointed. You get what you pay for - if you want peace and quiet pay for it with a 5 star hotel. We were lucky enough to get up on... More

Nice, clean hotel located in the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter. The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast room was pleasant and the breakfast selection very good (Western & Vietnamese). Walking throughout the entire Old Quarter was great and on Friday evenings (and maybe Saturday) they closed Ma May Street to traffic... More

In district 1 so in the centre of town, small local street. Lots of atmosphere, only real downside was the backpackers two doors up, sometimes had loud music, but it did stop round 12am. Easy to walk around and access local street food. Room was smallish but ok for three of us for 3 nights. We used a local laundry... More

Spent two nights here without sleep. Noise from the bars in the small road outside went on all night. Restaurant was not large enough for guest who wandered around with breakfast plates looking for spare chairs at dinning tables. Staff were also not very friendly.
