Hotel is right in the middle of Hanoi old quarter, which means you walk out of the hotel and you are straight into the action, especially at night! This together with the hostel next door means that it can be quite noisy in your room in the evening. The positive side is that there are many places for food and... More

I stayed here 2 nights that bookended a Ha Long Bay trip and absolutely loved it. Hien, the customer service manager, is probably the best I've ever come across. She helped us plan the rest of our trip on the first day. The rooms are nice, the location is good, and the price isn't bad at all.

My mother stayed at this hotel for 2 separate nights and I joined her on the second day. This hotel was booked by our travel agent and if I had a choice, I would never have selected this place for our accommodation. To be fair, this hotel does have a few positive factors. It is smack in the middle of... More

This hotel is right in the heart of the old quarter with tons of activity all around. Great walk around the lake and lots of eateries of all different types. And, of course, great shopping. The staff were superb and went out of their way to help. Hien, the customer service manager, was absolutely brilliant. Good selection at breakfast. The... More

Rooms are big and clean; helpful, friendly staff - they recommended several really good restaurants and cafes where the locals hang out. 45min from airport. Walking distant to everywhere (Hoan Kiem Lake, Hang Gai Street, Ta Hien Street). Good eateries (New Day Restaurant 2-min walk from hotel, highly recommended), pubs, money changers, souvenir shops, convenience store. Free wifi in the... More

Great place to stay at this hotel. It's at Old Quarter. We had a room at fourth floor facing the back. The room is huge and comfortable. Staff is friendly and very helpful. We will surprise that we are invited for their Christmas party on Christmas eve. Is free for all Guests. Furthermore you get to meet all their staff.... More

We spent 3 nights at the Medallion hotel. We arrived a bit earlier than expected and were served a nice cup of tea while waiting for our room. The staff is friendly and very helpful, ordering taxi, and keeping our luggage while we were on a two day trip on the islands of Halong Bay. Nice and clean rooms with... More

Very nice hotel. Following some advice from other reviews we asked for rooms in the back but we got rooms in front, back and middle. We had 704(front), 705(middle) and 707( closer to rear). Of the three, 707 was probably the noisiest because of the larger road in the back of the hotel but it wasn't unreasonable. All three rooms... More

The lobby is very seedy. Hallways have spots on the rug and light bulbs out. Room was noisy, toilet stuffed up, bathroom door would not close and room smelled from what we don't know. Can we say anything. Would not recommend for any price.
