A real homely feel to the place. For only $7 a night, the lovely Mia at reception easily convinced me to stay. The dorm beds are big, comfy and clean and not ugly! The rooms are clean and well designed. No expense spared on furniture, wooden beds, and wooden floors. The hotel staff even let us cook bacon (smuggled from... More

this hotel is well located in Hanoi, not far at all from the lac and all the key sites of Hanoi city; employees are very charming and they are doing everything possible to help and assist you; bedrooms are basics but that's ok, even if the cleaning is done only 1 every 2 days...... but avoid the breakfast which is... We booked 2 x 2 nights at Posh Hotel. Staff is of unequal quality: some speak English, are smiling and willing to help, others instead will always answer the infamous southeast Asian "yes" without having a clue what you are saying, will shake their head and walk away. Our room had a good size, but was really weirdly arranged: whenever... More

Arrived for a week stay with the intention to move after the first 2 nights. Loved the staff, loved the location, stayed the week long. Staff was great, all spoke good English, accommodated us when our 3 night Ha Long/ Bai To Long Bay cruise was shortened to one night (monsoon). They were conscious of our needs with a wheel... More

I arrived in Hanoi in the evening and had a few hours to kill before taking the overnight train to Sapa. The hotel arranged pick up from the airport (for a fee) and when I arrived at the hotel, even though I wasn't staying there until a few days later, the staff still let me have a shower and store... I had heard about THE POSH but had never had the opportunity to spend a few nights before. I was returning to Hanoi from Danang and I have been stopping at THE JASMINE most times I have been to Hanoi. This time THE JASMINE was booked solidly for a few nights so I jumped at the chance to stay at... More

1st of all, every member of the staff we spoke to were really nice & very helpful. The rooms were great, 1st place we have been with a great selection of TV programmes! Location is good, a 10 min walk to anywhere. We done the 1 day Halong bay cruise which we recommend! For food the Joma Bakery is a... More

The hotel itself is great. Lovely clean rooms, modern facilities, comfy beds and elegant decor. Located at the quiet end on the old quarter it's an excellent place to sleep. But the staff really were exceptional. On top of organising our visas to China and our transfers to Halong bay, they also helped everyday as we planned our itinerary, and... More

Walk into a magnificent old building that was once a bank. Be lucky enough to be allocated one of the large rooms with a king size bed and bath. Enjoy the airport pick up service and the wonderful friendly service of the whole team during your stay. Enjoy a generous breakfast on the roof top with stunning views of the... More

Excellent hotel and staff. Felt so welcomed when we arrived, it was great to encounter such friendly faces whilst travelling so far from home. The staff were incredibly helpful and gave us lots of advice and helped us book all the activities we hoped to do during our stay in Vietnam. Would recommend this place to anyone heading to Hanoi...
