We really enjoyed our stay at the Rising Dragon Grand Hotel. The rooms are a bit old but very clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Location is also great, in the heart of the old quarter and walking distance to many attractions. Highly recommended!

I stayed in the Rising Dragon Grand Hotel for four nights in February and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was picked up from the airport by their private bus which was extremely well set up, the driver had my name printed clearly on a sign. He didn't speak any English so the car ride was quiet but I was able... More

Where can I begin? I cannot sing the praises of this wonderful hotel and its staff enough. From making the initial booking right through until the moment I reluctantly left I was shown gracious hospitality and top notch service. The manager, Judy Anh, wrote to me personally after making my booking to thank me for my patronage and throughout my... More

I booked my trip via Agoda.com and requested for twin beds and airport pick up via this website. To my surprise, all of my requests actually followed through. We were picked up at the airport by the hotel and dropped right at the doorstep of the hotel. The staff were extremely amazing, super attentive and welcoming - one of the... More

Chose this hotel as it was recommended on Trip advisor and can only agree. It was great. Staff were extremely helpful and very polite with very good English. Our room 601 was large but I think we were given a free upgrade as they were fully booked. Everything relatively clean but corridors very tired looking with spare mattresses stored in... More

Stayed here from 25th-31st December 2013 alone. Staff was very knowledgeable in helping me book my tours. Even gave me a discount. They are very helpful, polite and fluent in English as well. Great hospitality. Room was a little small but it was nice and cosy. It is reasonably neat and the entire hotel has powerful Internet connection. Breakfast and... More

We stayed at Rising Grand Hotel with our 2 children in December and everything was very good. We decided to come back to the same hotel after our trip to Halong Bay. Staff was very helpful, the bedroom was very clean and of good size. It has a computer with internet connection, which my children loved! And which was very... More
