Stayed here for three nights. Although not a luxury hotel, it's fantastic value for money. Rooms were big and clean. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is good.

I changed from a very disappointing hotel to Rising Dragon Grand. It was a good move. The staff on the from desk were very friendly and professional - I was offered a choice of rooms and was impressed by the cleanliness of the room and quality of the linen. The position of the hotel was great - right in the... More

The hotel does not look new or as grand as others but the service here is excellent. The receptionist gave us a brief of what to do in Hanoi on the first day we arrive. They even suggested some good restaurant for us. The room is not satisfactory as the air condition is not working quite well. No good views... More

The location of the hotel is good. Right in the central of everything, walking distance to all the streets you might want to check-out during your stay at Hoan Kiem District, souvenir street, clothing street, shoes street as well as the famous night market area and etc...... Lots of local food stalls surrounding the hotel itself, so it wouldn't be... More

I booked the superior room via Agoda, and contact them via email. Miss Anna Anh is very nice, she taking care of all my requests, like book the water puppet ticket as my schedule, and also the airport transfers. I came very late, at 01.00AM, and the staffs were waiting for me. They're helpful when i asked about the simcard... More

As other reviews have said, the location is central and the rooms are clean and reasonably priced. However, the staff will incessantly offer to book trips to Halong Bay, the Old City, and other destinations for you. You should avoid taking them up on their offer, as you will be double or even triple charged. After a few days, I... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Rising Dragon Grand Hotel! The rooms were clean, spacious and they provide lots of amenities. Yen - one of the receptionists - helped plan our Halong Bay trip as well as book our domestic flights in Vietnam. She really went out of her way to ensure that our trip was enjoyable and stress... Staff here were all very nice and helpful. Even when we already checked out traveling to other spots like Sapa and Ha Long Bay and came back here as a spot to transit for the next stop, staff of the hotel welcomed us to go into the lobby even though we were not checking in that day, offered us a... During our first few days at the hotel I was very pleased. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with travel plans. Unfortunately, upon leaving our bags in their *secure storage space* while on a trip to Halong Bay, both bags were thoroughly searched and despite being locked with metal locks & zip ties, an iPad, a memory card... The hotel is fine as a budget option for a few nights in Hanoi. There's nothing wrong with the hotel per se other than to say beware of the promotional pictures on the website; the chain of Rising Dragon hotels all look pretty grand on the website, but the rooms don't live up to the images. We stayed in the... More
