For a 3-star hotel, this is true vallue for money. Lovely staff, very nice rooms, good service and breakfast is really good. Very quitte for the fact that the hotel is located in the busy city center of Hanoi. As soon as you enter the hotel the noises are gone. Loved to stay here and would come back again.

We spent 4 nights in the Dolce Vita and found it to be a reasonable 3 start hotel. They are allpretty much the same around this aream but we found the location great and was walking distance to many things. The staff were terrific, very friendly and helpfull, always a hello and a smile, especially the girls oin the front... More

This was a really nice hotel done with good taste. In their website they claimed to use FRETTE bedlinen (which is a very classy & expensive Italian linen maker, used by the kind of Ritz Hotel in Paris), which I was skeptical given the comparison of the linen price and their room rate. But I forgot to check as I... More

We came to Hanoi by train from Hoi An and arrived at 5am - but still we had a lovely welcome from the reception staff as they were running to the door, putting their jackets on having presumably been sleeping! All the staff here were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room (a... More

We booked for 4 nights, but only stayed 2, and would have left after 1 if we didn't have laundry to pick up. The room was like a cell and it stunk. It was stale and sweaty smelling, as were the sheets. The towels smelt smoky and sweaty too. The housekeeper burst into our room, scaring my 10 yo daughter.... More

We at first night was not happy with our room 703 (alot of lift noise) but on our return from Halong Bay was moved to room 401 which is slightly bigger and has a private balcony overlooking the road, yes you can hear noise but not as bad as lift (doors keep out alot of noise). I noticed they charge... More

The hotel is right in the middle of the Old Quarter. Not a quiet place. Close walking distance to most attractions, including the lake. The hotel was good value for money. Clean, new, good reception area and nice little bar. Staff very friendly. Though the restaurant was relatively small, and maybe overpriced for the area, the complimentary breakfast was excellent.... We stayed 3 nights at La Dolce Vita in March and loved every minute of it. I booked directly with the hotel and the reservation staff were really helpful and efficient. When we arrived we were escorted to our room which was spacious, well appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a large balcony and it was really good... More
