My husband and I loved this friendly and comfortable hotel right in the middle of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. The staff were very helpful and the rooms we had were both comfy and well appointed. The location was fantastic and even though as some have said it is not new, it doesn't need to be. I feel friendly helpful... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Room is average size. We had a third bed that was hard as rocks but still managed a good sleep. Window faced into atrium which is okay since I am only in it to sleep. Breakfast was the usual made to order eggs and noodle soup. Bacon and wieners, along with various oriental dishes to choose... More

The hotel location is excellent and rooms are large. But its a bit worn out and there's a dull and old feel to it. Room smell of tobacco for instance. I've stayed in various hotels in Hanoi and there's a number of better ones.

We stayed at this hotel on arriving in Hanoi and then again just before departing Vietnam. The rooms obviously varied a lot as we had a better room the second time around over looking the atrium. The shower is over the bath and high to step into. Maybe they have other rooms suitable for those less mobile. Has a lift.... More

It's in a good location and the staff are keen to help, except the room is tiny with no natural light coming into the rooms. The hot water is very temperamental - on one minute off the next. I moved hotels after 2 nights. I asked the staff to wait at the door for a minute twice until they walked... More

From the street, one would never guess what a comfortable, well appointed hotel this is. Great staff, very helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast -- with good local food options. Rooms are all spacious, very well furnished, and all have windows opening onto quiet internal atriums. Step out on the street and you are instantly in Old Hanoi -- street food and vendors... More

Stayed here twice over the past few weeks. A pleasant hotel and well located. Given the price, I rate it as a a four. Breakfast is good. The rooms are average with some marks on the thin carpet and the towels (actual bath towels!) have seen better days. Rooms not suitable for three people sharing. The reception staff stand when... I am giving this hotel a very generous 3.5 rating (rounded to 4). I stayed at the La Dolce Vita hotel in the old quarters of Hanoi for 2 nights. The beds were comfortable and I feel that the sheets were adequately cleaned as well so that was a plus (I am a self-proclaimed "clean freak")! The carpet had some... More

This is a wonderful old quarter hotel in Hanoi. It is close to the center of all of the attractions in the old quarter. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful. The hotel can be somewhat noisy, but that is the price you pay for being in the center of Hanoi. The room was clean and comfortable.... More

It's a functional hotel, not as clean and as nice as you will expect for a 4 stars. Located on the old town, the street is a caos and dirty wich doesn't help the hotel. We got an upgrade for our honeymoon to a bigger room wich it was really big with a living, but also old. No one on... More
