The first impression about Hanoi Aurora Hotel to me was friendliness of the staff there. The room standard was good compared to $15 per night I paid. I love the hotel location; it's only 3 minutes walk to Guom Lake and some nice restaurants, very central ( I recommend '' A New Day" restaurant when you are there, reasonable price).... More

As I had stayed here on my last vist 2 year prior, I was disappointed with standard of the room, there was mould on ceiling and walls. When I booked I was promised a kettle and hairdryer which were non-existant. On the up-side, the location is excellent and the staff are freindly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.

One small thing about this hotel that is important is that the windows facing the street are made up of two completely different sets of windows. If you love the busy craziness of wonderful Asian cities like Hanoi, you will hear motorcycles roaring endlessly, and the double set of windows mean you get the view of Hanoi life and you... More

Having slept in three hotels in Hanoi during my stay in Vietnam, I must say this was the best one :-) Location is very central, close to the lake, the staff is friendly and helpfull and on top of it, the breafast buffet is tasty :-) At hotel, you can buy a taxi voucher to the airport for 300.000vnd or... We only stayed one short night in this hotel and missed breakfast due to early flight. Nevertheless we quickly noticed this was the best hotel in Hanoi we stayed in (Asia Star and Apple being the other two). Rooms were spacious and clean, bathrooms could have been nicer, but all in all we enjoyed our stay.

Loved this hotel. Great location within walking distance of where the jetstar airport bus drops you off in the old quarter. Very close to the lake which is lovely for running/walking around in the mornings. Lively area to stay in, in Hanoi. Staff all very friendly and helpful, left our bags there while staying overnight in Ha Long bay with... More

This hotel has it all! Location, price, comfy rooms, nice breakfast and most of all - the staff. They planned a great affordable trip for me to HaLong Bay and Sapa that was so interesting and so much fun. Tran Keny was so helpful that I cannot thank him enough. A sign in the lobby expresses their best wish for... More

Excellent hotel for cheap yet comfortable accommodation. The location couldn't be better - in the middle of Hanoi - within walking distance of loads of attractions, so much to see and do. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, they helped plan multiple day trips and a tour to and around Ha Long Bay. The breakfast buffet... More

I was relocated to this hotel by the Hotel G I booked for my trip to Hanoi. I was stay in the highest floor in this building. The lock for the bathroom is broken. The tower provided is broken as well. Furthermore, the hotel is so dirty with tissue papers around the floor in the dining room. I would not... More
