We loved our stay at Aurora. The Staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacoius and clean. The two sister who run the place even took us to their hairdresser which was a great experience. There is also a travel agency where they offer you tours for the "real" price and help you planing your travels the... More

If you have a room in the top half of the hotel, don't even think about sleeping. A VERY NOISY pump (or mechanical device) is running for 1mn every 15mn, all night non stop. Could not sleep, and same thing for the other rooms. Also, my room had no hot shower. Looks like the hotel is just an excuse for... More

The hotell standard is average. Everything is ok. The room, the service, the breakfast. What I really did like about this hotel is their travel agent Thanh Vu who worked at this hotell. She was really great. She helped me plan ad book my travels through out Vietnam and all the way to Cambodia. She booked the hotels and trips... More

I stayed in Hotel Aurora and it was absolutely amazing. A nice vintage looking room with a view on Ma May street. The staff is super friendly, they always offered to help me with whatsoever and made my stay very comfortable. I absolutely recommend this place!

Rooms are clean and basic with hot water but that and the location are about all the good points. You can find better for the same value (see Hanoi blue sky 2) The staff were pushy about tours, tried to charge us for an extra night just because the night guy has let us into the room early... With no... More

We paid 15 dollars for a private room - which i think is the cheapest you can get in the old quarter. Its location is ideal, theres loads of bars and food around. The staff were friendly and helpful, we were given the choice to pick our room and the wifi is strong. Mattress is a bit springy and its... More

I'll keep this simple. The three things you expect from a basic/budget hotel are a clean room, comfortable bed and a functional bathroom. You will find none of this at the Hanoi Aurora Hotel. We booked this hotel from the strength of prior reviews, and I appreciate that friendly staff have the ability to raise the stock of a hotel's... More

I chose the hotel based on the recommendation from a friend who stayed there, and simply could not chose better. It is fantastically located in the Old Quarter, within easy walking distance to all central sightseeing places, and is surrounded with numerous bars, food, markets, shops etc. The area also feels less touristic than e.g. the part of the Old... Friendly staff always welcoming, accommodating and willing to assist. The dorm had air con, fresh linen and towels and was cleaned daily. Was a substantial buffet breakfast in the morning. No problems with my stay :)
