The hotell standard is average. Everything is ok. The room, the service, the breakfast. What I really did like about this hotel is their travel agent Thanh Vu who worked at this hotell. She was really great. She helped me plan ad book my travels through out Vietnam and all the way to Cambodia. She booked the hotels and trips... More

I stayed in Hotel Aurora and it was absolutely amazing. A nice vintage looking room with a view on Ma May street. The staff is super friendly, they always offered to help me with whatsoever and made my stay very comfortable. I absolutely recommend this place!

Rooms are clean and basic with hot water but that and the location are about all the good points. You can find better for the same value (see Hanoi blue sky 2) The staff were pushy about tours, tried to charge us for an extra night just because the night guy has let us into the room early... With no... More

We paid 15 dollars for a private room - which i think is the cheapest you can get in the old quarter. Its location is ideal, theres loads of bars and food around. The staff were friendly and helpful, we were given the choice to pick our room and the wifi is strong. Mattress is a bit springy and its... More

I'll keep this simple. The three things you expect from a basic/budget hotel are a clean room, comfortable bed and a functional bathroom. You will find none of this at the Hanoi Aurora Hotel. We booked this hotel from the strength of prior reviews, and I appreciate that friendly staff have the ability to raise the stock of a hotel's... More

I chose the hotel based on the recommendation from a friend who stayed there, and simply could not chose better. It is fantastically located in the Old Quarter, within easy walking distance to all central sightseeing places, and is surrounded with numerous bars, food, markets, shops etc. The area also feels less touristic than e.g. the part of the Old... Friendly staff always welcoming, accommodating and willing to assist. The dorm had air con, fresh linen and towels and was cleaned daily. Was a substantial buffet breakfast in the morning. No problems with my stay :)

As far as value for money goes, you cannot beat this hotel while in Hanoi. I stayed in this hotel for 4 weeks while working in Hanoi, therefore a clean, comfortable hotel room at a good price was necessary. The rooms were modest, however they had everything a traveller would require, including a safe, air-conditioning, hot water, a flat screen... More

We went on a 2d3n tour to Ha-long bay with the help of Victoria, who booked us with Paragon Legend. Tour was well organized and everything was as promised. We are vegetarian and the ship's chef made great food for us which was very important for us. Our guide (kenny) did everything in order for our stay to be as... More
