The first impression of this hotel was very bad and it never changed till the moment I left. The only good thing about this hotel is that it was very close to the Lake and the night market. My room was on the fourth floor and the small tiny spiraling stair was not enough wide to take up suitcase up.... More

at first glance the rooms look quite ok, but if you stay there longer then 10 minutes you'll find cockroaches crawling around (even by daylight) celebrating all the leftover food and rubbish underneath the bed (variating from small papars, dead bugs and big waterbottles) left by former guests.. The room has a filthy carpet on the ground which looks like... More

Enquired abut visa services and was quoted double our own hotels. Dropped laundry off & was charged $2 kg - sign out front said $1 kg. paid money and no change given. The unfriendly guy @ reception demanded we pay immediate - we did. On collection he demanded we pay again, of course I did not. Met a guy in... More

That was the best room I ever had so far! For great location, air conditioned room, nice bathroom and good service, USD 7 is a crazy offer (although the room is on fifth floor, way up there). Originally she offered USD 8 but when I decided to go elsewhere she decided to bargain for it. When I needed internet connection,... More

The rooms were nice but the morning of the TET we had a knock on the door at 10 AM and the women told us we had to leave so she could see her family. Understandable but maybe she should let people know this before they unpack there things and plan on staying a few nights. She told us that... More

Whey picked us up from the bus, we saw the room and wanted to stay. It is a large, clean room with air con, a fridge, the comfiest bed I've had in 4 months and a TV. King was really friendly and we even went out drinking with him after he finished work. We had a great time. The bath... More

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Holiday Hotel Hanoi is an excellent place to call home. It is centrally located on a quiet side street, the staff speaks English, and are wonderfully friendly and helpful. We booked our trip to Ha Long Bay at the desk as well as got train tickets for Hue. They were prompt with taxi service and did everything they... More
