We had initially wanted to stay at the Maison Hanova near West Lake, but it was shut for renovation. So we picked this hotel from the same chain, but in the old quarter of Hanoi. Best. Decision. Ever. The hotel is centrally located, spotlessly clean, well-appointed rooms, very comfortable, everything works -- ac, hot water etc. Rooms are a bit... More

Our stay at Maison D'Hanoi has been very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and other than the bathroom door that needed persuasion to stay closed, we had everything that we needed. Location is great as it is central within Old Quarter and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We also opted for the windowless room to avoid street noise.... More

This is a very small hotel, the rooms is very small and the shower was very slow. The room was very dim, not enough lights. I would not stay here again if you don't like small hotels. It was centrally located but we had a driver and guide, so it really didn't matter where we were. The breakfast was just... More

We got a windowless room in a corner as we didnt want the noise from the street. But there was a mouldy smell and constant water dripping sound from outside the walls. Overall i would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in this part of town.

Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the central location with nice and clean rooms. Good located for easy walk to most attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is OK but not nothing special. Dinner is good and has a include a good view of the city but there are also many local choices just arond the hotel.

This hotel was just an little bit better than most. Exceptional staff. Exceptional location. Right in the thick of things and great for walking around the city to see all the sites. Very convenient send very busy. Staff outdo themselves to give you a hand. Many food places in the immediate area.

This was our first trip to Hanoi and our travel agent recommended this hotel - we are certainly glad that he did. The minute we arrived, Tony, who is also the tour desk manager made us feel at home. We had a room on the eighth floor with magnificent views and windows that actually open. There is a restaurant on... More
