This was an ok cheap place to stay. The staff were very friendly and we didn't find them pushy at all. Rooms were a little bit shabby and noisy in the mornings (traffic and chickens!) but the location was perfect and for the price we didn't mind.

We only stayed for two nights. We payed 10$ pr. night. The staff was really freindly and we had a clean and nice room. This hotel has an elevator, which was very nice. The hotel is in the middle of the old quarter. Nothing bad to say about this place except the rooms are a bit cold!

This place is not so much of a hotel rather a tour booking office with rooms over it. We stayed one night only because everywhere was fully booked. We hadn't even checked in and all they wanted to do was sell us a tour for the next day. Our small standard room was dirty with a cigarette hole in the... More

Staff are friendly and bent over backwards to help us when we complained of no wifi access on flr 4. Gave us a rm on flr 2 which coat $2 more @ $20 but the walls are paper thin and the noise was bad. Plus there is a busker who sings on a microphone in the streets at the highest... More

The Hotel itself is actually not that bad for the price. The rooms are reasonably clean and towels and toothbrushes are provided. The location is also good in the old quarter. However, the staff is very unfriendly and they try to rip you off with selling overpriced tours and get angry if you refuse. Especially the guy who seems to... More

The Hanoi Glory I stayed at was on 29 Hang Hom but most of the signage was for "Sinh Cafe" just up from the Gecko Cafe, but that may not help much. Anyway the owner came to pick me up at the SinhTourist bus station and scootered me over to the place, after we discussed the fact that I had... More

At first, we got a really nice treatment, but after we didn't book with them the Halong Bay tour- it was all over! We have been told that we will have to pay extra money for keeping our bags at the hotel while we are in Halong Bay. The rooms are "ok"- but the minute we went out, they turned... More

Don´t book this hotel at any case!!! This was the worst hotel we stayed during our whole vietnam journey! We arrived in Hanoi thursday, the 28th of august, and stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. After booking a 2-day-trip to Halong Bay, we left on saturday. Till then everything was okay, although the hotelstaff was very pushy and unfriendly... More

On the bus to Hanoi the owner boarded and offered us a free taxi ride to his hotel to "take a look." We agreed, and after seeing it decided to walk around to compare with other hotels. Suddenly the owner became extremely confrontational and demanded we pay him for the taxi to the hotel. We initially refused to pay because... More
