We checked in here for three nights as we couldn't extend our stay at the Lucky Guesthouse 2. The first room we moved in to, 302, the air conditioning wasn't working properly. We thought we'd leave it and see how it was when we went out, it was no better (blowing air so weakly you couldn't feel it, whilst standing... More

Hanoi can feel pretty chaotic when one first arrives so we were so thankful to have found this spot. We stayed for a total of 6 nights. We stayed in both the superior (which is very spacious), and standard (which is a little smaller) rooms both were very clean, with typical Asian bathroom, and decent internet connection (there is a... This was our first stop in Vietnam and they created a fantastic first impression of the country! Dealing with them before arriving (delayed flights etc) was prompt and easy, a driver picked us up from the airport and took us straight there. The room was good for the money we spent, could use a bit of a touch up but... More

Initially we booked 3 nights, but ended up extending our stay to almost a week. The staff is very helpful and really friendly, they went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. Since we were visiting Hanoi for a culinary/cultural project, they were so kind to help us get in touch with some local people as... More

Basic but well located with the nicest people we met in Hanoi. Willing to spend time to help you and genuinely want to help and for you to enjoy your time there. For $5 a night in the centre of bustling Hanoi I really think you can't go wrong!

We were plonked on the 6th floor in a damp mouldy stinky room and it was grim :( breakfast was average, there are only so many dry baguettes with overcooked eggs one can take! Also, it felt a little out from the centre, there wasn't much happening!

I booked one night in the hotel, a double room and a single room (we are a couple and a guy), when we arrived there they said that they had problem so we needed to stay in a family room, which is fine for one night. The day after we went to Halong bay but we booked 3 night for... More

This hotel is located in the Old Quarter and easy walking distance to all the sights. Breakfast is great! We stayed here twice (a trip to Halong Bay in between), so we had 2 different rooms - 201 and 501. Both rooms were the exact same layout just on a different floor, and I would definitely recommend these rooms. They... More

In Hanoi for a few days in november 2013. Stayed longer than expected in the north (thanks Haïan!). During all the stay at the Serenity hotel, felt very well... You're close to the old city of Hanoï but the room are quiet enough. Good rooms with more than you need to have a "sleppy" night, "healthy" stairs (yes you'll have... More

We stayed at serenity hotel for only two nights. Emily and the team were amazing, especially considering our arrival date changed due to a missed flight. They rearranged accommodation and our ha long bay tour with no fuss. On arrival we were greeted with friendly service and they arranged a cake, flowers and a bottle of wine as it was... More
