Pictures make the hotel look much nicer than it really is. The bathroom door didn't close properly, nor did not lock. The room wasn't so clean and the bed sheets were stained. The hotel looked very old and outdated. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, even though the staff was very nice and the location was good.

First, the hotel has seen better days. It has been years since the rooms and especially the bathrooms have been up to date. Having said that it still had a certain charm to it and is, according to the staff, about to undergo a complete renovation. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, the staff was extremely helpful and seemed sincere... More

Clean rooms, friendly staff. good value for money. Receptionist was really helpful with check-in in the middle of the night due to problems at another hotel, very much appreciated. Good location in the tourist part of Hanoi.

I initially booked 2 nights in Hanoi Asia Hotel to secure a place to stay when arriving in Hanoi … but eventually stayed a whole week (early September). This is a family-run business, where you may sometimes feel that you are almost part of the family. The staff is extremely kind and helpful when needed. Special thanks to Long (who... More

Very friendly once booking was made, seemed very helpful when arrived with family, breakfast was simple but very adequate, very pushy regarding booking tours for Halong Bay and Train tickets to Da Nang. eventually booked with them only to find out during trip that i had payed 3 times to much. Asked for a laundry to take our clothes to... More

After spending two nights at the Hanoi Asia my girlfriend and myself were left pretty unimpressed with the hotel. Although the room was large, the bathroom was poor and untidy, the windows had gaps which allowed a draught, the bed was very uncomfortable (and we both had insect bits afterward, although it seems harsh to directly attribute that to the... We stayed in two rooms, both were large, long and narrow. The 'city view' is of the street outside and not really of the city therefore all it adds is lots of street noise. The non-city view room had a view of a wall one centimetre from the window and was a little bit quieter. Both rooms were grubby, with... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and were warmly welcomed by the lady on reception who seemed to run the hotel; the guys didn't seem quite so efficient. Pleasantly suprised by the size of the room and we were impressed with the cleanliness, size and comfort of the beds. However the bathroom, which needed replacing, was grubby and not terribly... My family and I just returned from a trip to Vietnam. We stayed in 6 different hotels throughout various cities. We all agreed that the staff here was by far our favorite. Each employee there was friendly, accommodating, and honest. Until you've been to Vietnam, you don't realize how rare and important a staff like this is. To come back... More

We stayed here for 9 nights in late Feb / early March, in two different rooms ( we went to Halong Bay / Cat Ba Island for a 3 day tour ). Both rooms were large, with two comfy beds, clean bedding ( duvets ),large wardrobe, dressing table, kettle, mini bar ( a small bottle of water per person, every day,... More
