We stayed here in April 2014 and it was excellent value for money. The staff were amazing and helped us plan our Vietnam tour, booking flights, trains, hotels, taxi transfers, sight seeing etc... Rooms were clean and well kept, food was great. The hotel is in a perfect location for seeing Hanoi Old Town. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived by mistake one day assuming we were going to a different hotel, we didn't have a booking & it was pouring with rain (& about 1030pm!). The guy on reception was lovely, really enthusiastic, happy & found us a room- I think the only one left, a bit pricier than we had been used to, but we just... More

My overall experience at Thaison Palace was superb. I highly recommend anyone that is seeking an affordable location that offers remarkable customer service, cleanliness, and convenience. The staff was fantastic and the whole hotel was absolutely spotless. Travel desk at lobby was so useful and guaranteed quality. We booked via this hotel the tour to Halong bay on Glory Cruise... We stayed in this hotel twice on two separate visits to Hanoi, about 6 weeks apart. The first visit we thought it was great - the room we had booked was very dark (no windows) and we asked if we could change to the empty room on our floor with lots of light and a street (lovely trees!) view. They... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2012. It is located in the Old Quarters of Hanoi, near heaps of great places to eat and shopping. It can get a bit noisy at times as there are lots of beeping from cars and motorbikes (not the hotel's fault). The hotel service was good. They were very helpful and tried... More

We stay at Sunrise Hotel Hanoi and we had an amazing time. Right from the start, the owner was incredibly helpful and sweet. We shared a comfortable room right next to the common room, with our own shower. We often spent time relaxing in the common room - reading, watching TV, going online - it's the kind of place where... I like the most friendliness of the staff, in particular Mr Hung on reception who helped me with an earlier check-in and later through the stay. Location is perfect for walking around in Old Quarter. We liked the complementary internet access. The value was incredible. We had a very comfortable stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom ultra modern. Breakfast was good. Some taxis did find it hard to locate the hotel and they were having trouble with their intrnet connection. But, I would gladly stay there again
