We stayed for about a week at Moon View Hotel after having a week in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. This hotel is located in a nice area that is between the West Lake area and the Old Quarter. It was about a 20 minute walk to attractions and restaurants in the Old Quarter and about a 40 minute walk... More

We stayed at the Moonview Hotel on Cua Bac in the district of Ba Dinh between January 16 and 25, 2014. The three of us were in rooms 1107 and 1104. 1107 offers nice views of lake Truc Bach and West Lake as well as the Tran Quoc Pagoda. The Moonview has 1 lift serving all floors with the exception... I stayed at this Hotel for two nights on 11th & 12th January 2014. Nice large room, great location, good breakfast, and pleasant friendly staff. Only negative was the toilet would sometimes have minor volcanic-like eruptions and bubble and spurt all by itself. However other than this it was excellent.

Vietnam Airlines gave me a free stopover here on my way to Luang Prabang. So glad they did! It was rainy but the staff and cosiness of the hotel more than made up for the weather. Even late arrival seemed no problem for the staff of the restaurant It was lovely to have breakfast from the 12 th floor restaurant... More

I am sitting in a quiet little nook in the foyer of the Moonview hotel in HANOI. When we first came to this hotel it was called Bro and Sis, but in the past two years the hotel has been upgraded. Upstairs on the 12th floor there is a neat and tidy breakfasting room which serves as a small restaurant... More

Good ac, nice bath, very reasonable space, two very small balconies, very clean and very, very well maintained. All staff very friendly and helpful. Staff in breakfast room very friendly and enjoyed practising their English with us. Lift issue referenced by previous reviewer not unusual in Vietnamese... More

If you want to stay somewhere that allows you to soak up the atmosphere of real Hanoi this is the place for you. We loved it. The staff were outstanding. Always smiling and friendly and spoke really good English. The location was great – it is just a short distance away from all the hotels that all the western tourists... More

Recently stayed here on a "Wendy Wu" tour. The staff were very friendly and nothing was any trouble. We had a west facing room which had great views large bedroom and good en-suite. Only one lift, so sometimes a bit slow getting up and down, but on holidays... no big deal. Drink prices in the bar are reasonable and staff... More
