I really enjoyed this small family-run hotel. It is right in the middle of the wonderfully hectic old city, but significantly, it is on a quiet alley that leaves one's nights without loud music and the endless roar of motorcycles. I have a room facing the alley and the nights are quiet and the view of the world going by... More

Had a lovely 3 night stay here in March, taking 2 rooms on the 4th and 5th floor - be prepared for some stair walking if you stay! The rooms were big, bathrooms clean and water was hot. Have the Pho for breakfast, it is much nicer than the eggs and fills you up for hours! The very top room... More

The Camellia 6 is an outstanding budget hotel in the old quarter. It is centrally located, very quiet, very clean, extremely friendly do I need to continue. BOOK THIS HOTEL. The bed was huge and comfortable, the small balcony was perfect for a coffee and a book. The breakfast was outsourced from the nearby stall but was very nice (pho... More

This small budget family operated hotel is a hidden gem. Located down a small alley it is in the heart of the old quarter with easy access to everything you need and want to see. The real draw card I found about this hotel is the family who operate it. Phuong and Anh are genuinely nice and helpful people. They... More

really nice and clean place. Especially for the cheap price. The guys that run it were really friendly and helpful when ever we needed. Recommended all the good local food spots and other places we wanted to go. Big clean rooms. Definitely a good find.

Showing us to the room the owner said he'd given us his biggest room (we had requested twin beds). Very pleased to see a big double and big single-2 armchairs, air con, fridge and balcony with table & chairs. Lots of hot water in the adequate bathroom & tasty breakfast. It's an old hotel in a very old alley-decor dated-TV but not... More

When I decided to return to Hanoi, I had no hesitation in booking into Camellia 6 for a second time. The location is fantastic. 5 minutes to great nightlife, restaurants, coffee shops, Hoan Kiem lake and the night market as well as everyday shopping throughout the old quarter. The hotel is clean and comfortable. All rooms are air conditioned and... More

Once again we enjoyed the company of Phoung and her family when we stayed at Camellia 6 again. Located of the main streets of Old Hanoi, it is the perfect spot to base yourself in Hanoi. Everything is within easy walking distance and there are plenty of local food outlets to choose from. As always Phoung was extremely helpful and... More

I have been using this hotel of the last 4 years. It's an average boutique hotel with no elevator but what sets it apart is Phoung and her family. Great people who go out of their way to help at every chance without trying to push tours on you. It's my favorite hotel in a back alley where you can... More
