We have stayed here twice from 3 to 5 weeks each stay. It is a modern new serviced apartment building run by the Ascott group. We stayed one of the two Penthouse 1 bedroom apartments on the 22nd floor. The Penthouse suited us as it was 2 floors with the bedroom and ensuite on the top floor with views over the city and West Lake (Tay Ho), the main floor is spacious, with open plan lliving, modern well equipped kitchen, dining table for 4 and large LCD TV and stereo. All this overlooks a private courtyard that you can open up to let fresh air in (if you can call it fresh in Hanoi ?). This was a key reason for the room as the Penhouses are the only suites with a courtyard/balcony.

The location in Hoa Binh is OK but some may find too quiet. Still only a 10 minute cheap taxi ride to the Old Quarter and they have a shuttle as well.
