We stayed here one night before cruising Halong Bay, due to the rain the room we stayed in was humid and cold, but the location and the resort grounds are breathtaking. Our room was in villa #3, 1st floor and had a beautiful garden view, the room and bathroom could use some TLC but both were large. Breakfast was a very nice buffet and we were the only westerners in a room full of Korean tourists, who fed us dried seaweed to prevent seasickness! We had some problems during checkout, housekeeping couldn't find one of the bathroom towels and they wanted to charge us for the towel ... not that it was worth taking as they really need to replace those old, rag tin linens. It took them awhile but the towel was found and off we went ... more
