Stayed here during an Intrepid tour. The positive: a good view from the bar upstairs, very short walk to market and lakeside, plenty of eateries within a short walking distance. The negatives: a musty smell, noisy kids uncontrolled by parents running around corridors. Breakfast was okay. The allegedly special omelette mentioned by another contributor is, I think, a normal part... More

Paid for 3 nights only lasted 2...... Unfortunately our stay Thi Thao Gardenia Hotel was not the best. The staff were pleasant thats where the positives end. It was Loud, continual noise from outside commencing @ 4am, walls and windows were not sealed so we could hear everything. The bed was so uncomfortable, rock hard pillows old lumpy and hard... More

We stayed here on our Intrepid tour and while it had clean rooms, the bed sheets were dirty and smelled of smoke. It was common for people to be smoking in the halls too. Service was also average.breakfast was so so.

Over-priced & poor service. Accidentally broke a saucer and was charged 100.000 VND. Ridiculous! No free map. Staff charged myself and my travelling partner twice for mini-bar items at check-out. Unhelpful reception staff. Awful breakfast.

I booked and paid for over the internet a non-smoking Deluxe Double Room on the basis that it offered a lake and mountain view. This booking was confirmed. On arrival I was told that they did not have a Deluxe Double Room, but offered an alternative, a twin room. This room was smelly of cigarette smoke and faced a back... More

This hotel was booked for us as part of a tour of Dalat but I would recommend to book your own hotel! The reception staff were poor, not overly helpful or friendly. We also got conflicting information about a bus we had booked and could have missed the bus if we didn't check with a different receptionist the following day.Decor of rooms... Stayed her for 2 nights in July. Staff were pleasant and hotel in a great location, just short walk from the lake, market and numerous bars and restaurant. Room was a good size and laundry service very efficient. Only complaint would be that the room felt slightly damp. The hotel has a rooftop bar with good views across the lake... More

Our trip to dalat is titled ‘despair’ and this hotel did not help our experience. The reception looked old and later we will discover the whole place looks old. So far the hotels that we have stayed at provided free local map but here you will need to pay 10,000VND. Our room was at the back of the hotel and... More

Checked in on a Thursday for a stay lasting until Sunday. Staff at check in were nice. The room needed better maintenance. Walls had plaster covering holes in several areas. One dresser drawer was filled with trash. Rooms do not have air conditioning! Staff sent a fan up to the room for us. Housekeeping very complaining about bringing items to... More

We went before it was renovated, and despite getting only the Standard Room, the room was very big as it was the corner room. The room has a view of the mountain, but you can't see the mountain when it gets foggy. Being on top of the hill, and near the middle of town, you get a good view of... More
