After trying a budget hotel in Dalat, we decided to "splurge" on this hotel, which turned out to be much more reasonable than we expected. Perfect location, near the lake. Great breakfast, and some afterhours entertainment in the bar downstairs. Rooms need some touching up but were generally quiet and very comfortable. The spa and swimming pool were quite nice.

I was looking for a decent hotel for my 2 night stay in Dalat and came across this one. The cheapest rooms cost 1,100,000 VND (33 pounds) a night; not bad for a 4 star hotel. The reception wanted payment in advance, which I thought was a bit strange, but paid anyway. There was no A/c or fan in the... More

Well placed to walk to city centre and around the lake. Room size though smaller than the usual 3 star hotel, was airy and bright. Extremely clean. Bathroom had good shower with plenty of hot water, and clean. Breakfast average compared to what we have been having in 3 star hotels in Vietnam. Restaurant okay for meals if unable to... More

Our rooms were awful. Dirty and smelly. The rooms were meant to be deluxe but we were downgraded into supreme with no explication as to why!! The paint and wallpaper was pealing particularly bad in the hallways. The pool was surrounded by mouldy and cracked walls. We complained about our rooms but were given a manager that refused to listen... More

Just arrived to the acclaimed 4 star "blue Moon" hotel in Dalat Vietnam, at first glance walking through reception it looked very nice! But after walking in to our rooms (we have 4 rooms) we changed our minds really quick! First the misty smokey moldy smell was overwhelming! The carpets are all stained, with cigarets burns, iron burns and various... More

Great hotel near the central market and lake. The rooms were clean and in good condition. The breakfast had a mix of western and Vietnamese food and was delicious. Best of all, the concierge spoke english and was able to help us book transportation. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location is good, a short walk to the lake and the center where there is a night market (not a touristy one!). The rooms are old and worn. My room was a room with a lake view but that is stetching it. I had a fair in mu backyard and far far back, between the trees, I could see a... More

First the good. Beautiful Building. Easy to reach and within walking distance to the lake. So not good 1. The room was nice but could not believe the noise, traffic noise 2. The room was so dirty and wet. 3. Breakfast not for western tourists I am not sure if I would be back.

The foyer is the only nice thing about the hotel. The rooms are dated, dirty and smell. The hotel was incredibly noisy; they had a party on the floor above ours which went on all night! The music and noise from the DJ boomed through the ceiling so loud that we had to complain and ask to be relocated, as... More
