Stayed 4 days at Suksan Villa in Chalong. Some problems that we encountered: - Management wanted us to put a safety deposit of US$500 cash even though we have paid for the stay via credit card. Additionally, we couldn't charge the deposit to the credit card, cash only. Deposit will be refunded after checking out. I believe the T&Cs on... More

About 5 months prior to our trip to Phuket (in Nov. 2013), my husband found the listing for Villa Kuta located near Nai Harn beach. Reviews of Villa Kuta said it was only a 10 minute walk to beautiful Nai Harn beach, restaurants and shopping, so we booked it for the week commencing Nov. 21, 2013 and we wired the... More

We stayed for 4 nights at Villa Suksan, and we had a hard time leaving this beautiful villa. Some things are old and need to be replaced, but still acceptable. The villa is very clean. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Nice decoration. Loved the tub. My two kids (4yo and 6.5yo) loved roaming around the house, swimming and lounging by the... More

The holiday I spent in vill Suksan was really unforgettable, it is really the ideal place for a romantic vacation. The accomodation is exactly as shown in the website and the the pool is just outside the door, I love to stay in water and used to sit in the pool even at night. A relaxing place to rest after... If you are looking for a villa in the south of phuket at reasonable price this is your place. We booked one week in may and we paid less than 40 euro per person. Villa was beautiful and responding to our expectations. Service impeccable. no surprises.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at Villa Suksan, Rawai and we had the most fabulous time. Every aspect of the house and garden has been carefully thought in pure contemporary Balinese style and no detail is too much trouble. It is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds (four post is so romantic), great showers, big sofas,... More

Having stayed in many hotels on Phuket we thought we would try an alternative and found Villa Suksan on the internet. A series of serviced villas located inland from Rawai, the location is perfect for those seeking to get away from it all -although you are reliant on hiring a car or a driver. I think only two are complete... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Villa Suksan is a private villa designed to accommodate small and extended families and groups of friends in luxury and privacy. The Villa is in a compound of 19 Balinese villas with private pool and garden located Nai Harn Beach.INSPIRED by FENG SHUIVilla Suksan is inspired by the simple desire to eliminate all the superfluous, achieving natural order, calm and tranquility.A few magic essential elements help to make you live inharmony with the tropical environment. Generous windows and abundance of glass ensure you to experience the pleasure of feeling at one with the tropical surroundings. A beautiful swimming pool interconnects the pavilions, reflecting its light on the spacious sundeck and interiors. A perfect garden, showcases exotic plants and foliage that persists throughout the year. The villas have been designed and built to provide an extraordinarily beautiful look. The spacious and elegantly designed swimming pool is the focal point of the property, finished in the traditional Andaman dark blue ceramic tiles, with underwater lighting providing an elegant and romantic atmosphere in the evening. Villa Suksan is based on the tradition of Feng Shul, the well-known oriental philosophy whose origins have been lost in time.Blending a touch of Asian style and traditional Balinese architecture, villas are safe but still in direct contact with nature. The breath of nature is the power that flows through the earth: wind and water are the two elusive elements that characterize Villa Suksan and the Feng Shui philosophy. On entering the house, you immediately come into contact with water through a passageway connecting the garden with the main terrace. The large number of windows causes the wind to blow through the walls of the house, thus creating a visual link with the vegetation and other natural elements. Indoor/outdoor area includes the swimming pool, garage and a spacious terrace give the villas an overall area covering a luxurious 320 Sq.m.BEDROOMSThe main bedroom was deliberately situated higher than the living room area, thus creating two separate, but still connected pavilions . All Villas come with exceptional standard features like vaulted ceiling lined with Teak wood plus Maka Mong red solid wood floors in the Master Bedroom, and swimming pool view. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have luxurious down feather pillows, down feather duvets and black-out curtains to guarantee undisturbed sleep even during daytime.Bedrooms are comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated with original paintings and local art crafts. All bedrooms have King-size bed, built-in cabinetBATHROOMSThe Master bathroom contains hand-made bathtubs and walk-in shower with cold/hot water. Second and third bathroom have walk-in shower with cold/hot water.LIVING and DINING AREAThere are two comfortable sofas and a long Indonesian wooden table seating 6 and perfect to entertain guests. In the living area there is 42'' LCD television with cable receiver to enjoy over 50 international news programs, sports and movie channels.KITCHENThe open kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, climate-controlled two-door refrigerator, 4 rings ceramic hob, hood, microwave, blender, glasses, crockery and cutlery, etc.GARDEN and TERRACENatural sandstone tiles on the terraces and a polished cement finish in the car parking area complete the design perfectly, complementing the contrast between the natural wood and flowing water. As a final note, the soft colors chosen for the interiors and the roof, together with the green of a lovely garden, and the distinctive blue of the swimming pool and attractive waterfall, remind you of the colors and the sounds of the sea…SECURITYThe entire community is monitored by a 24 hours CCTV (closed circuit television) system. ... more   less
