Location: Sandy Spring is located on Soi 13, right in the heart of Pattaya. It's located between beach road, a two minute walk, and Second Road. Staying here is key for anybody because Beach RD and Second RD are one-way roads--this is the Baht Bus 'Ring Route' that'll take you north to the quiet areas of Pattaya or south towards... More

Hadn't stayed here since 2007 but it was still much the same as I remembered. In return for buying a membership card (300 baht) I got upgraded from a basic to a balcony room for the same price. Maybe showing its age a bit but still clean and pleasant. Staff are absolutely great. You now get a call every morning... More

This is not your typical 4-5 star hotel. It is really a 3-4 hotel but due to the staff and location I would consider it a 4 to 4 1/2 star. Great staff, great views of the sea, nice pool, decent bar and restaurant for an informal drink and bite to eat. Close to Starbucks, Laundry, other restaurants, baht bus... More

Excellent hotel, do not base yourself on the comments below. The new deluxe rooms with seaview are spatious and very beautifull (see pictures below). Big bed, shower + baththub. every day the cleaning lady did an awesome job! Location is perfect, in the middle of soi 13, near to beachroad and near to 2nd road. The only thing this hotel... More

For value, Sandy Spring takes some beating. The best rooms are on the West side so as to get the great sea view. The rooms are basic, without a lot of the commonly found items in them and with age, this hotel has fallen a bit behind a lot of the other cheaper rate Hotels. They could definitely benefit from... Compared to two other hotels I have used in Pattaya, Sandy Springs is the cheapest. What the hotel does not provide is tea/coffee making in room, no iron or ironing board (in fact reception told me all guests must use hotel laundry service for ironjng, privare irons not permitted), drinks at pool, breakfast included in tariff. All meals are room... More

This hotel on a great location need a complete renovation. The rooms are old and show there age and a lot of damage. The airco is noisy and dirty. The beds are typical thai. That means so hard that you're feel tired after a few nights. And a good sleep is number1 in the tropics. Compare that with Empress right on... More

This place is quite clean, location is great close to the beach (3 min walk) walking distance to Walking Street or you can catch a tuk-tuk for 10 baht watch out for the parked tuk-tuks as they are taxis and will charge you 20 times more (200 baht) . Some points off for the rooms as they are starting to... More

Coming here since 2006... well...I am still pretty sure, after visiting many other new hotels, Sandy is still unbeatable for only 1900 bath (2200 the full price...but if you get the "member card" valid 2 years long you will get 300 bath discount per day!), for the following reasons: 1. Perfect location in soi 13 (near and "walking distance" to... More
