Over 26 years visiting Pattaya I've experienced the highs and lows of the hotels on offer. The Asia is a bit out of the centre of town but having a car, that was not a disadvantage to me. The huge old hotel is set in equally huge grounds. The grounds are kept beautifully by the gardeners with exotic plants everywhere.... More

Sprawling property with a mini golf course and tennis courts. Good view of the sea but not the beach. Must have seen better times and could do with some more. Well maintained gardens. Pros : as stated above Cons : stink in the room emanating from an antediluvian aircon system. Rooms need to be refurbished. Front desk is not helpful.... More

We stayed here with our tour group and we are a bit disappointed with the room we stayed in. Our room was run down, the bathroom smelled and was very dark. My wife found hair follicle on the toilet seat. The AC unit were loud. The television was from the dinosaur era and we had to reboot it every 15... More

Whilst well situated, walking in the front door is like entering a time warp (back 40 years) - original 1970s decor, but not in a good way. Clean enough and a nice enough pool. Lovely staff. Poor breakfast buffet. If you think of this as a budget place to sleep, you wont be disappointed.

The public areas inside are really nice, they're cool, spacious and very comfortable. You can choose from three restaurants, including a terrace outside. The room looked a little tired but they are clean and spacious. The bathroom was not very big but adequate, the towels were changed every day. The food was very good and plentiful. The drinks were expensive... More

The location of the Asia Pattaya may prove to be a little too far from the 'action' for some although, for us, it was perfect because it's quiet yet the town centre is only 2 miles away and taxis are plentiful and cheap. This hotel is situated on a cliff overlooking a small beach which, whilst public, tends to be... More

We approached the large 1970's, brightly painted building with some trepidation. This is obviously a tour group hotel where one could expect standards to be below par. Although the room could have done with redecoration it was reasonably comfortable and quiet. The private grounds, gym, pool, small golf course (!) and beach are spacious and well maintained. Staff, even though... More
