I've visited Pattaya many times over the last 4 years, and since my first stay in Areca Lodge, its been the only hotel I stay in. Personally, i've only ever stayed in the Evergreen building; the rooms are spacious, nicely finished, and clean. The staff are fantastic, and the food both in the restaurant and via room service is great.... More

I have stayed at this hotel on 2 other occasions. This time, I was in a room in the main Areca building. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities supplied daily as are 2 bottles of drinking water. Balcony was a reasonable size with a clothes drying stand available. Bathroom had a bath with shower above. However, the... More

This is my fourth stay at this hotel, and it's always a pleasure. The location is great, close to shopping and the beaches, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable. My choice hotel when I'm in Pattaya

The hotel was fine, but they need to renew the bathrooms and the pool! The breakfast was average. The location was really good. My problem was mainly with the front desk, i was sleeping in my room afternoon, they called me to get out of the room so they clean it! That was disturbing and weird!!!!

We have stayed at the Evergreen wing many times and found it to be getting a bit tired - think they should upgrade bathroom with separate shower and I had to boil water every morning to shave as there were no hot water! The New Year party was ok, but should not be forced upon people to attend. Room staff... More

We travelled with 2 girls aged 10 & 12 years so we wanted a hotel that did interconnecting rooms. I contacted the hotel reservations directly and they were very helpful in arranging this. The hotel itself is good value and rooms were nice. Check in was efficient and staff very friendly. Best welcome we had !! The pool area was... More

The hotel is fantatic - both locationally and service wise. It is bang in the centre of Pattaya and all kinds of activities are within stone throwing distance. We stayed in their Evergreen wing. The triple room was huge with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The breakfast had a decent spread, you could lunch by the pool with fizzlers... More

I have now stayed at the Areca 5 times and have enjoyed it every time. This time I stayed in their newest wing the Evergreen and it cant be faulted, I have stayed in the two older wings before and they are still up to a good standard. Breakfast is plentiful and doesn't finish till 10.30am so for the late... More

This is a great little resort style hotel in the middle of the city. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental and Thai selection and the tea is usually very good. This is a good hotel for family's, friends and couples. The Evergreen is the newest and smartest and quietest of the three sections of the hotel.

Just returned from a 3 week stay in the Areca lodge Pattaya. The Hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Pattaya, with everything you need close by. I couldn't fault the room or staff at all, albeit the hot & cold water had a mind of its own sometimes! All in all I highly recommend, great stay.
