The hotel is nice and the rooms are decent. The Spa is really nice. But avoid the pool after 5 PM. It turns into a big hot tub. Everyone knows what happens in Pattaya. The "nightlife" spills into the hotel too. I guess what people do in their room is private, but not when that sort of stuff starts happening... more

In a very crowded, busy city with a great nightlife this is a relaxing and comfortable hotel amid the chaos. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. Pattaya is an awful place now, overcrowded with East European and budget travellers and of course those just there for totty. Bad floods in the rainy season, rip-off taxis, poor food and awful traffic. But if you have to stay there this is a well run and well located hotel. Marriott Pattaya’s very atmosphere is unique. Hotel is located in the city centre itself. Just go out the front door and past the car entrance area and you are in the middle of the action, or just a few steps from it.
