I felt that as I was to visit Pattaya then I had to re-visit the Irish Rovers Guest House (since it has been re-branded to I-Rovers) ......... my first impression was the changes to the surrounding area, Soi LK Metro is changing with more and more Bars with Air Con, Clubs & Go Go's opening (judging by the number of... My boyfriend and I booked at the Irish rover for 2 nights. We arrived at the guest house and it was in between two streets full of strip clubs and "special massages." do not stay here if you are a couple but it seems to attract older men that would like this area. In the description of this guesthouse someone... More

Never stayed in the rooms so can't comment there but I visited this place to eat, drink and watch football a good bit on my recent trip to pattaya and I liked it a lot. They do a great breakfast for just 99 baht, greT value. I had a burger and chips one evening and that was also delicious. Apart... More

I stayed at the Irish Rovers for six nights and would like to make the following comments: The owner and his son (Simon and Josh) and the staff all very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is huge, tasty with a big mug of tea! Stayed in two different rooms. The first was the old office with a window overlooking... More

Because of the heat,I needed a place to stay for 11 hours prior to my departure,on arrival the manager had to be contacted by phone,I explained a booking had been made on the web,I was then shown to a top floor room it was typical one star standard, building work could noise was coming from downstairs,as was music noise from the... I recently spent 3 nights at this guesthouse (Room 34) and can't praise it enough! Well managed and draws in a really good crowd. I had read reviews on overbooking but Simon (owner) couldn't have been more helpful prior to arrival and several times confirmed my stay. I arrived mid afternoon, and wasn't asked to pay anything until the end... More

Sadly I have to say it like it is ........pre-booked several months in advance, on reading Trip Advisor reviews stating overbooking problems, I e-mailed to check my own booking and was told 'not to worry' ........... arrived to be told that there had been a heavy storm the previous night and several rooms had been damaged therefore i would have... Pre-booked room at Irish Rovers by email 6 weeks before travel and received confirmation. However my suspicions arose when I tried to re-confirm the room 2 days before travel and got no response. When I arrived I was suprised at how small and cramped the reception/bar/restaurant area is, nothing like the pics on their website. Also the website shows the... More
