I booked in this hotel for 4 nights from 9th of January 2015 and as I liked it I booked another 4 nights. I was pleased that the hotel offer breakfast again in the same room as before and also at the terrace so nothing has changed compare to before for what concern breakfast. I was in a room on... More

I wrote a review of the Cafe Royale last August following the changes that had been made. I went there in January 2015 and have the following things to say abut the New Cafe Royale Restaurant.Firstly I went there on several evening and the service was terrible. On one occasion I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and when it arrived I remided... More

I have visited this hotel and restaurant for many years all I can say is that Ian and Robbie the founders would be horrified at what has been done to this bar. The Hotel and eating area was a welcome oasis in this area, that sometimes can be a little brash. Yes it's in the middle of boyz town but a... More

The Café Royale has recently fallen under new management and has been turned into a show bar which operates alongside the hotel. It is located on the main street of Boyztown along with 2 other hotels (Ambiance and Copa) and numerous gogo bars and a massage establishment. Boyztown is a delightful area for a night out and things there are... More

This place has changed hands and you can notice it. I have stayed here before and it has always been pleasant. On this trip it was not so impressive. The cafe downsatiars is now not open during the day servicing food. Instead it has turned into a seedy cabaret show run by over the top money boys. Mr Beam is... More

The Cafe Royale has changed hands. It no longer has anything to do with the Coffee Shop which used tobe open all day. The Coffee shop/Restaurant opens at about 6:30pm and closes about 3:00am. No longer can you get breakfast there in the morning. They have not updated their website so it gives the impression that nothing has changed. But... More

Having stayed in this hotel before I was about to book once more for new year. A friend of mine who is in Pattaya at the moment phoned and told me of the changes that had been made. No 24 hour room service, no breakfast which was one of the best but not the cheapest but worth a few extra... More

I've stayed in this hotel several times before and found the service excellent. This time however ....... . The kitchen was closed for breakfast but no one told myself or 3 other guests so eventually we all moved across to ambiance hotel. The rooms are clean with excellent showers but rather dark with cream wallpaper and dark brown wooden panelling... More

I have stayed in this hotel on three previous occasions spread over the last 5 years. In the past it has been quite good, although some of the posted comments about trays left out for 24 hours sound familiar. On my past 3 trips I have stayed at other hotels away from the noise and bussle of Boyztown. Please note... More

I have stayed at La Café Royal on two previous occasions, the last being November last year. It's a great location and I intend to return this November. I must state that previous comments regards torn stained sheets and towels were certainly not my experience. The rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard and I never saw any cockroaches... More
