Stayed at The Wave for a couple of nights. Room was good for the price however there are a few things which I wouldn't recommend. One of our beds were just pieces of wood and a mattress on top. Not comfortable at all. The area is nice and a lot of things are really close by but the noise at... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Wave. It was in a good location, a nice sized room and a great food and drink menu. The staff were very friendly and there were lots of maps and flyers around which really helped when planning our time in koh samui.

I visited The Wave recently after reading some ok reviews online, I had never visited Samui before and needed somewhere cheap and in an ok location, as I was a female alone. I liked the fact that it seems friendly with dogs, and is owned by expats. However when I checked in I was a little shocked. My room was... More

Just been on a long journey from Chiangmai, tired we just wanted a room. Stay one night and can safely say I wouldn't do it again. Secruity however was exceptional, finger print entry! Staff where friendly enough. That's the good points. This place is not very clean at all, air con was rubbish and dripped on my bed in the... More

Stopped into this place for an English breakfast. Can't comment on the rooms or anything but everything in the breakfast seemed microwaved with the toast as the exception. Wasn't happy paying 140baht for what we recieved but didn't want to cause a fuss. Just ate the beans and toast and got out. Wouldn't recommend for an English breakfast.

The Wave Samui is a hostel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The two owners are English (I suppose) and the rest of the personnel is Thai and they were all really nice to me and my 3 friends when we were their guests. The double-beds in the hostel rooms we had were unfortunately not really comfortable but okay... More

We stayed for 5 nights in january and were really excited about visiting koh samui! The wave was our choice and we were pretty dissapointed with what we got! Downstairs felt very unfriendly and the check in was confusing and not very well explained! We got in the room and it was not clean! It was also not cleaned during... More

I normally don't write reviews but due to the awesomeness of The Wave I just had to.... The room was spacious, clean and basic which is what we expected as it was one of the cheapest places we found to stay for three of us with an en suite. The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful, friendly... More
