I stayed here with a friend from 1st April to 8th April 2014. We both booked a standard bungalow which was set in the gardens area and cost us around £16 each per night. When we arrived to the hotel the staff greeted us and immediately took our luggage. We checked in without any issues at all even though one... More

We stayed here for three nights before moving on to koh phangan . Yes it's basic, the toilets are a bit like Greece with toilet paper in a bin, but that's life! Rooms are basic but cleaned every day, no issues with ants for us and we were in AC3. The food (breakfast) was ok and reasonable and all of... More

I stayed here last night and the night before with my boyfriend. we stayed in a bungalow with a fan towards the back of the resort. Having been travelling for over a month now we found this to be really pleasant for what we paid, 650baht a night. The room was very clean as was the bathroom and we were... More

My partner and I arrived at Moonhut Bungalows extremely excited to stay at the location, after seeing all the fantastic pictures and reading all of the positive reviews. When we arrived we were greeted very coldly by a Lady who then showed us to our ‘hut’. As we had been travelling for a long period of time on a budget... More

Other wise the view from balcony is fantastic, nice beach with not a best sand, restaurant had probably best pad thai we had. Bathroom could be better as well but we... More

Lovely beach bungalows, with sand right up to the steps. Nice restaurant with free wifi (don't pay for the hotel's- just buy a drink and get it for free!) Amazing beach with views across to Koh Pha Ngan. Close to a 7/11, ATM and main road with all the taxis/songthaews. Very chilled, helpful staff who arranged a 4am taxi for... More

Our 5th or 6th time at the Moonhut and we had a great time. Fantastic food, friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and ice cold drinks. Add in a beautiful beach setting and you've got a slice of paradise. We can't wait to come back.

We stayed for 3 nights. Air cond are working well. Rooms, toilets and towels are clean. Nice sound of the beach. Staff at the reception and bar are not very friendly and hardly smile. . No toiletries, no kettle to make coffee and tea. We did not mind not having swimming pool as the beach is nice . But they... More

At moonhut you can find separate one-room bungalows for short stay, one-floor houses 50 m from the sea for long-time rent, and more upper-class two-floor houses for same purpose. No swimming pool, but there is one at the hotel 25 meters away. Unlimited access to a comfortable beach, which is not long though, 20-25 meters. The water is clear and... More

My husband and I stayed in AC2 for 3 nights, and our friends got AC1. The rooms were large and comfortable, and right on the beach. Our AC worked fine, but our friends had some trouble in AC1. The bathrooms were not my favorite, but they were clean and worked fine. The upsides were the sunbathing lounge chairs, the adorable... More
