Such a lovely quirky room! Some of these reviews are quite pedantic or just absolutely wrong (making a point because it initially put us off from booking)! The second building referred to (which we stayed in) is lovely! Loads of people staying here, also a fantastic Spanish tapas on the ground floor - delicious plus good priced pizza etc (also... More

Average kind of sums of this guesthouse . I mean, my expectation was just look like on those room images, but reality was deference. kinda old building ( not that old ) and when I was arrived at the hotel no one there at the front desk and I had to wait till the staff came in and surprisingly he... Average kind of sums of this hostel. Rooms are not quite as modern and fresh as expected from photos. The price was good for the size of the room, there was air con and the bathroom was fine. The wifi was weak in the room we were in, it seemed better in the lobby downstairs but inconvenient every time you... More

We booked just one night (maybe also because of some of the critical notes we read), but in fact stayed than for the rest of our holidays. Great place to stay; clean rooms, cheap for the things you get and just near all the things you need for a relaxing stay on the beach. Wonderfull helpfull and cheerfull staff. Absolutely... More

Liked: location was 5 minutes from cheweng beach. Rooms were funky, each room had a teddy bear and funky painting and decor. Disliked: Turned up to akwa 1 which is the main hotel reception to get the room key but ended up being transferred to their 2nd building which was only inhabited by cleaners so if you need assistance you... The hotel could use a good cleaning. We stayed only two days. Terrible! Blood on the bathroom door, that also had a hole. everything was sticky and old! It was a very young girl cleaning. I dont think she knew how to clean properly. The safe did not work, so we had to get a new one. We went to... More

I couldn't recommend this place more! I stayed here for a week in July with one friend and from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were made to feel so welcome and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and provided us with any information we should need about the island!... 4 of us stayed, between 2 rooms. Quirky decor. Pretty cheap, good location. Was a short walk to the real nightlife (green mango etc) but was close to bars if you just fancied a few beers and some pool.

Quite a big room and plenty of shops, bars etc near by which is a plus. The decor of the hotel is fun and the selection of DVDs available to watch was a nice surprise. Some of the hotel staff seemed reluctant to help us out at times (somewhat grumpy) and never replaced our lamp despite asking 3 times. Also... More
