Business type hotel on main road, near ATM, doctors internet cafe etc. Stayed in deluxe studio which was roomy and clean. Food good although sometimes a bit slow.as they seem to make everything themselves. Staff very helpful and very attentive although not everyone had much english. Rooftop pool secluded and pleasant. Free tuk tuk to beach if required. Internet computers... more

I spent one week here with kid and wife. Rooms are big for that range of hotel in Koh Samui but surprisingly very few space for our belongings (small wardrobe, no shelves). Breakfast was horrible: poor choice of meals, bad cooking, stale bread, ... Team is very friendly appart from drivers of the airport shuttle who also tried to charge... more

Me and my boyfriend decided to have a 2 week break in Thailand in 3 diff locations. The 1st half we thought we would use mid range hotels so that we could have a real luxury second half in Ko Phang Yang. We read the write ups and thought this was a bargain and good base for 5 nights. It... more

Dear Guest, We are sorry to hear that your holiday was not quite up to your expectation, particularly our location. We do offer shuttle to chaweng and the bus departing time might not be available or suite your schedule. Some of our guests prefer to rent a car or motorcycle to travel around the island and it is more saving...

I was quite shocked having reed some of the other peoples reviews on here, having stayed at the hotel myself three times. And going back with my girlfriend for new year, so I thought I will give my two pennies worth. I turned up at samui airport on the saturday afternoon, to be greeted by a mini bus laid on... more

The Amarin Victoria Resort is a well designed hotel that offers rooms with greater luxury that you would normally expect at this price. The hotel is a short walk from the quiet Mae Nam beach, set away from the throng of Chaweng. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the beach; however we chose to walk as it was not... more

This is a gem of a hotel to stay in. I've used it on four different occasions. The staff are super friendly and helpful and can't do enough to ensure your stay is comfortable. I've only stayed in the standard rooms. The ones I have been in were immaculate. They aren't huge - I've been comfortable in them as a... more

This would be a nice hotel, except the location is really poor and impractical. The hotel is NOT on Maenam beach, but rather, is located over a 1 KM walk from the beach. And other than the self-contained Dusit Thani resort across the street (which you can't enter if you're not staying there) there is no nightlife, and nearly no... more

Dear Guest We are sorry to hear that your holiday was not quite up to your expectation, particularly our hotel's location. We are aware of this and some guests don't actually mind for not being directly on the beach. We provide FREE shuttle service and all in-house guests are welcome to request it any time at the reception. Shuttle to...

I stayed at the Amarin Victoria a few months after it openned in 2005 and my stay there was wonderful. The restaurant on the roof was just marvelous, the ambiance was so nice. I was there for Chinese New Year and I had dinner while watching the fireworks. The pool area is one of the most beautiful designed I have... more

Hello!!! I stayed here together with my boyfriend in July-August 2006 for 10 nights in a deluxe studio. The hotel is located on a busy road in maenam. When you cross the street and cross another resort (very luxurious), you enter the world of mysterious magic!!! The beach is really nice!!! The lobby is really modern and has a breakfast... more
