I stayed here for the second time. From my previous stay I knew that maintenance is not a high priority here - last time I had a hole in the bathtub, this time the toilet was leaking badly. I pointed this out on the first day, because it made the tiles quite slippery, but it wasn't fixed by the time... More

Chaweng Palace is about 100m to Chaweng Beach and centre of everything Chaweng Beach could offer. Restaurants and bars are nearby. Supermarket is just around the corner and massage centre is just 3 doors away. The only thing is if your room is on the 4th floor, you will need to climb up all those stairs.

During my stay, that night was raining and suddenly the room ceiling broken and i experienced the waterfall on 2 am. The receptionist is also not helpful and irritating. So my suggestion is better stay elsewhere.

I stayed here twice during my trip to Thailand. It's cheap compared to most of the other hotels in the area and only a few hundred metres from the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were quite helpful. The only problem was that cars advertising the local boxing matches drove past approximately every ten minutes blaring... More

First of all, we weren't even supposed to be staying here... The owners seem to have 4 or 5 hotels all on the same block and had overbooked BB, where we were booked (and had paid for already!) so they moved us to Z hotel (where the window on our 1st floor room didn't lock) so they moved us to... Very centrally located. Other reviewers said it was quiet - it is right on an intersection of 3 roads and there is noise from cars, motorbikes and loudspeakers blaring advertisements 24/7. The rooms are spacious, the bed was firm but comfortable and the air con was working. The bathroom is dangerous - pebbles on the floor between some tiles, so... More

We were disappointed during our stay here. We were given a top floor room which smelled like cigarettes and overall wasn't that clean. Towels appeared to be 5 years old with tears etc. Shower was dirty and aged as was the rest of the room. We were able to find another more updated hotel at the same rates. The positive... More

Location of this hotel is the best. It is a budget hotel but the rooms are great, the beds are nice, the shower is quite luxurious and best of all.. There is no noise even though it is centrally located, close to the cafes and restaurants. The supermarket is right on the corner, the beach is a 1 min walk... More

I stayed here with friends and cannot fault the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The beach is one minute away and there are many nice restaurants within five minutes walk. The hotel feels safe. Taxi home from the green mango area is around 50 baht and there is no nightclub noise near the hotel. I would stay... More
