We stayed at Villa LaMoon in dec of 2011 and really enjoyed our stay. Situated on a Cliff it gives a great view from all rooms on the resort. The rooms were fine and clean. Although first of we were boven the room behind the seafood restaurant next door which was riddled with bugs. This was caused by the kitchen... More

Pros: rooms are quiet and have good A/C. Free breakfast. Moderately friendly staff. Cons: from top to bottom 180 stairs. Hotel is run down and in need of maintenance. Wi-fi access is extreamly poor, showers are Luke warm at best. My wife and I stayed here 9 days. We wish it was only 3-4. Things that say they are included... More

Stayed here for a week, this would have been a good place when it was new, but now it is very run down and needs lots of maintenance. Lots of things not working or broken, pool very small and dirty, lots of steep stairs to get to your room. No mini bar or room service menu, this place rates itself... More

This resort would have been great when it first opened ! The villas are large and grounds ok, but you can see that owners have changed and now it is being run into the ground. The resort is in a steep cliff with villas leading down cliff to the Sea which has no beach. Many steep steps to climb! Our... More

This place is a perfect holiday villa, the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are of a very high standard, my girlfriend and I stayed for 5 nights and would have stayed longer if we didn't have to move on. The views are amazing, rooms are cleaned daily with clean towels and everything restocked, we weren't expecting the... More

We travelled as a young couple and absolutely loved this place. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect and we even got upgraded because the room we booked wasn't available. The villas are lovely with your own private area to each and they all have a great view of the ocean. It's in a nice quiet area but... More

Undoubtedly good value for the rooms but lacking in recreational facilities should you so need them. Not wheelchair friendly. Several steps to negotiate to get to and from your room. The entire facility needs a little more upkeep. Peaceful and spacious villas (but avoid the ones next to the neighbouring restaurant. It's a little noisy at night. Chaweng is 15-20... More

the hotel is located near the most beautiful beach i've ever visit - the silverbeach. it far from the center (chaweng) and its very expenssive to go in tooktooks or cabs, its prefer to rent a bike (possible in the hotel) and travel with it. (about 300 bhat to 24 hours). the room is big and there is a restorant... More

Stayed in Villa La Moon in January 2012 (Superior Sea View Villa). My room was on the top of the cliff very close to restaurant and the reception area and the sea view from the room was stunning. You could hear the sound of the waves from your bedroom at night and it was absolutely relaxing. The bathroom was large... More

I have to say that I was drawn to this place solely based on the name, the view and concept of this place. The rabbit room (link it back to moon) and their usage of rabbit is very nice. Sadly like alot of resorts in Thailand, once the ID guy left, the owners start to put their own personal touches... More
