Its been 15 years since I've been back to Chiang Mai.......I am willing to admit that I have changed a bit since the late 90's, and perhaps my expectations with the rest. While I missed the simplicity of my guesthouse experiences, Hotel De Naga was beyond comfortable, and the service unfailingly polite and accommodating. My wife, whom I was showing... More

Lovely staff and lovely hotel. Difficult to fault. Location great for for first time visit as it is situated inside the main town walls and within easy walking distance to all areas. Close for Thai boxing which having been wary I would recommend a visit for £8...but stick the cheap tickets...an experience The hotel has a connecting bistro bar which... More

Great location, polite staff, amazing cocktails and nice cool air conditioned rooms. The rooms and cleaned daily and the beds made. Air conditioning is very good- definitely need some warm pjs because the air conditioning is that good! Location is great- tip: go out the back through the car park and you are in a busy area (we only realised... More

This was my favorite place in Thailand.I will definitely return to this hotel again. The pool area is small but there was so much to do that pool was not on my mind.Right outside your door were restaurants and massages etc..

Probably the best hotel we ever stayed in. Great breakfast and very nice room, impeccable service that makes you feel at home. A tranquil oasis in Chiang Mai where you can truly unwind after a day of excursions. Recommend this hotel

Beautiful Thai furnishing and ambience throughout, with fabulous and friendly staff to make your stay memorable. Location close to the night markets with interesting art shops, vegetarian restaurants close by and yoga studio Blue Garden which I was very please about. Very much a boutique hotel supplying Thai culture for all to enoy!

I am staying here last January and love the location so much... eventhough they only have plunge pool but the weather was cold so I didn't bother to swim.. the view from my room is worth nothing but the location of this hotel is a gem... will be back for sure...

Wonderful boutique hotel: attractive rooms decorated in Thai style, and a good central location - everywhere is walkable. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast was good (and included in the room price) and the free 10 min shoulder massage by the pool during happy hour was a nice touch.

My husband and I had three nights in Chiang Mai before meeting friends in Patong. We had not been to Chiang Mai before, but based on TA reviews thought it would be for us. We loved it. The De Naga was a lovely hotel, which was quiet, though not far from everything. We didn't opt for the breakfast package, instead... More
