My Thai friend found us this delightful hotel for our first ever trip to her home country. Other than spotty wifi, we had a lovely time and give the hotel high marks for its charming accommodations and attentive staff. The breakfast buffet was delicious and also had several vegetarian options.

it was a great surprise for me this hotel, I really liked it, I will sure come back again! The neighborhood is full of little restaurants with delicious and non expensive Tai Food. Tic Tucs are right outside the hotel and they take you anywhere for very little money. There is a fantastic weekend market very near.

We stayed at the De Naga for five nights including Christmas Eve. Very well appointed rooms. Highly professional and friendly staff. Breakfast choices were good and the restaurant manager was amazingly obliging. The staff put on a show for the guests on Christmas Eve and offered a Western Christmas Eve dinner which made us feel right at home. If you... More

I just checked out after a 4 night stay and enjoyed my visit. I liked the unique Thai detailing in the rooms (extra points for the cool tissue box) and I thought the lobby was gorgeous. The breakfast was very good with an excellent mix of east and west. Note they will bring you eggs if you ask. Also, the... More

We spent a week exploring Chang Mai and surroundings based at De Naga and it was a perfect location. It is right in the action of the walled city, close to the market, but tucked into a quiet pocket. Breakfast was always good and filling, by any standards. The building itself is interesting with an interior courtyard and a quaint... More

The staff are gorgeous, breakfast is fabulous, rooms stunning, pool is unheated which can be a bit of a shock and quite simply a bit weird given the cost of this hotel that it can't be heated I love this hotel on so many levels but internet is a simple necessity these days so null points as it is quite... Great hotel tucked away inside the old city walls. You can walk to temples, restaurants, and the night market. Wonderful staff, very attentive, and best of all the rooms were spotless and clean! The hotel itself is beautiful. The pool is small, but no one really goes to Chiang Mai to sit by a pool. With all the hustle and... More

Right near the East Gate, walking distance from everything, De Naga is a sanctuary. While the hotel is not small, the entrance is so unobtrusive that I actually walked past it a few times after I was already staying there! It's walking distance to everything, but bereft of backpackers. The rooms are lovely and peaceful; blackout curtains are fantastic, as... More

We spent five days at the De Naga in the first week of January. We had just stayed five days in Bangkok at a stunning hotel (Metropolitan by Como), so it was an adjustment to transition to the De Naga. Once we shifted our expectations, we found that the De Naga suited our needs for our stay in Chiang Mai.... More
