I would say that for the price this was an excellent experience. The location is convenient for the Sunday night walking market and some good restaurants, and close to a main road where it's easy to get a tuk tuk or red truck to the night bazaar and other places. The rate included breakfast, which was reasonable and fresh. My... More

The hotel was clean, staff very helpful and friendly, and the location was unbeatable. Most of the rooms overlook an open air courtyard, which I thought was beautiful. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room except to sleep because we were busy exploring the city! But, every afternoon we came back from being out, the beds were... More

We had a lovely stay, good location, staff very friendly and helpful. Food at this hotel was very good, especially their burger which was big enough to share, full of flavours, so tasty. Also had a cookery lesson with lovely Chef Aoi, and Pinki IsMe as our photographer for the lesson, great experience. Will definitely return here if in Chiang... More

Loved the hotel - a boutique style hotel with excellent staff and a quaint little restaurant where we had our morning breakfast.. Went with friends and we all had a great time. The pool can be improved as the water in it was very salty. All in all a great experience. Do note that this is a bit away from... More

This is a lovely hotel in the best part of Chiang Mai. The service is very good and the hotel organised all our day transport for us. We were upgraded to a premier deluxe room on arrival which was a lovely room with vaulted ceiling and window seat. There were, however, a lot of mosquitoes when we arrived in the... More

We absolutely love this hotel. Its absolutely gorgeous! Its like a big traditional Thai style house which we made our home for more than 8 nights. The staff were fantastic with us. They were all lovely and we especially enjoyed seeing Rose for happy hour down beside the pool. (she makes an AMAZING cocktail!). The food was always good. We... More

We just checked out from De Naga. The hotel is very beautiful, very nicely decorated and the stay was smooth. Room sizes are fine and you can see they have spent good time in decorating both general areas and rooms. It is located very conveniently close to night market (10 minutes tuk tuk ride), Sunday market and few temples. During... More

We stayed two nights at De Naga Hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploration within the city walls. Everything is within walking distance, night market, restaurants, bars, etc. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room we had was comfortable and clean. The pool is small but very lovely especially during the hot afternoons. They offered... More

There are 2 places to stay in Chiang Mai: near night market or near moat square. Night market has tall high rise hotels, American chain fast food restaurants and tourists galore. The moat area has smaller boutique hotels, locally owned restaurants and coffee shops with more local flair all in short walking. DeNaga's location is behind main road so avoids... More

We stayed here twice on our recent trip to Chiang Mai, at the beginning and end of our visit. The location is great and the staff helpful. The pool is little but was nice and quiet when we were there. The hotel restaurant is also very nice, with traditional dancers and musicians. We would certainly stay here again.
