Let's get the minor negative (location) out of the way first. Ruen come in is located on the outskirts of the city down a dusty road which requires a taxi ride to and from the city centre but the negatives stop there! This place is INCREDIBLE!!! You are treat like a king when you stay here. The staff are so... More

We stayed here for two nights, but wish it had been longer. They responded to emails promptly before we arrived, arranged our airport pickup, and from the moment we arrived treated us like their best friends. Upon checking in, we met Kate and were given drinks, taken through a map of the area, told likely prices for getting around and... More

We stayed in the Ruen Come In during our honeymoon in July 2013 (not in August - but I could not select July 2013 any more when writing this review) and we would absolutely recommend it... Very, very nice small boutique Hotel with only five rooms in a Lanna style Teak wood house. The rooms are very clean with good... More

We stayed here from July 10 to July 14. First of all, this hotel was very beautiful, with everything made of wood, and it was impeccably clean, always the most important thing to me about any hotel anywhere. The staff was lovely and attentive. On our last night in the hotel, we had a problem with our room at 11:30... More

I stayed at the Ruen Come In from July 2nd to July 6th. It was the second stop in a three stop trip to Thailand and I must say, it was a wonderful stop. The hotel itself is slightly outside of the walled-in city of Chiang Mai, but it was the relaxing and quiet stay that we needed after staying... More

After reading all the previous reports we were very excited about this hotel and booked for 7 nights. We were disappointed to find scaffold erected everywhere so painting could be done we had scaffold between our sunbeds and the pool bit of a tenko moment. The staff were all very nice but the service was not a patch on previous... More

We stayed at the Deluxe Room for 2 nights and it was a pleasant experience. There are 5 rooms only and the whole resort is made of wood in traditional Lanna style, which made it quite interesting to try out. Breakfast is quite nice with several types to choose from each day. Staff were nice and helpful, and the only... More

This boutique hotel comprising only five rooms is well worth an overnight stay. "The House of Golden Teak" is a fair translation into English. The rooms are spacious, though now I know where all the Thai teak forests ended up. Here! The place is run by an educated lady who speaks excellent English. She is willing to do anything to... More

We stayed for 3 nights in January in this Lanna-inspired family-run guesthouse. Our room was in the newer rosewood house, as opposed to the original teak building. It's in a slightly quieter and less touristy part of town, but a short drive away to Nimmanahaeminda Road, which is good local street for coffee and bookstores, and Maya shopping mall, if... More

There is huge difference between the Deluxe room and the suite. I started off in the twin Rosewood deluxe room, and the noise from the nearby road was unbearable--the motorbike noise throughout the night kept me awake the entire night. The owner was nice enough to allow me to upgrade to their grand suite (the only open suite at the... More
