We had an absolute fantastic stay in the Panviman Resort. The resort is located in the beautiful mountains about 30 km from Chiang Mai city. It has 35 rooms and villas and a huge spa. We found out about this hotel from the internet and from it's website, it was slated for the grand opening on 29 November 2007. We made a booking for 2 rooms for 2 nights for 3 kids and 3 adults.
