The Bodhi Serene, a boutique hotel, is a peaceful oasis in the old town of Chiang Mai. It is nice and quiet at night with no traffic noise. The location is excellent with plenty of good restaurants and massage establishments near by. A money change is directly across the road with another 100 metres away. The staff were always very friendly... More

The hotel Bodhi Serene is located in the south east corner of the old city of Chiang Mai. I really liked the location because many sights are in walking distance (e.g. the Night Market or the City Pillar). The hotel staff is of great help, overall the service is very good ... just if they could get some more training... More

The hotel Bodhi Serene is located in the old town area of Chiang Mai. The location is perfect if you are desiring to walk around the old town to see the different sights. Overall the property is well maintained, clean, and the staff are friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value in this area... More

Pros : Amazing staff, good breakfast, and everything was perfect! Location was good. Staff was very helpfully and always very cheerful. Bathrooms were good and spacious. The included bubble bath for the tub helped to make for a very relaxing stay. Would definitely stay here again. Cons : None.

This hotel never informed us about renovations next door and there was a lot of noise and dust coming from the hallways.Bathrooms need a deep clean up and an exterior paint job will do wonders.Breakfast is very poor considering what you pay for.Only good thing about this place is service at the lobby and our friendly taxi driver collecting us... We arrived here early after catching the sleeper train from Bangkok. Thinking that we would have to leave our bags & find something to do the front staff gave us a room that was ready. The room was clean, large and the bathroom had a big round tub in it. Breakfast in the morning is good, with freshly cooked eggs... More

We stayed for one night and it was a good experience. Check in was smooth. We signed up for the shuttle to the Night Bazaar which is a great additional service. The room was well put together but well used. However everything was clean and the staff were helpful. If you are getting a taxi or tuk tuk to the... More

A lovely hotel. The grounds, room, and pool are beautiful. My only complaints are minor: no hot water, and they charge double for things you can get in town: laundry service, bike rental etc. but most hotels do this so I can't fault them. But if you need laundry service or bikes, you can get both just outside on the... More

Our first visit to this hotel and our initial impression was pleasant surprise, From the street entry, the hotel looked fairly nondescript, however inside the hotel grounds we found a little oasis. A lovely courtyard garden is overlooked by the rooms, an elevated pool and restaurant and relaxation area, all combine to make for a very pleasant and relaxing hotel... More
