Stayed two nights - booked online and had no expectations, other than a standard, good hotel. The hotel surpassed my expectations. True to its name, it was a serene escape from a busy bustling city. The restaurant was excellent, the staff was always very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good (my favorites were the small samplings of Thai dishes).... More

We really enjoyed our several night stay at the Bodhi Serene this past summer. The hotel resides within the "walls" of old Chiang Mai. Right down the street from the hotel were a variety of Thai massage shops, interesting restaurants, one of the large night bazaars, and lots of easy access to pick up songthaews for affordable transport to locations... Spent a great few days here. Great rooms that overlook a courtyard and nice breakfast area. Close to most attractions and the night market is nearby which is huge. Great pool with bar nearby.Concierge has a huge amount of attractions that can be booked here.

We spent 2 nights there and the room was quite lovely. The location was great. We walked to the night market. When needed it was easy to get a cab. We made use of the laundry service located nearby (50 baht per kg). After checking out I was told that the white facecloth was yellow and that I must have... More

We spent 2 nights here -- the rooms are well appointed but all look into a central courtyard and are quite dark. The pool was lovely and the area surrounding it quite restful. Extensive cocktail menu and drinks The restaurant food was ok not the best in Thailand -- we ate Thai food. The breakfast was good but we were... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Bodhi Serene hotel. While the room was not ready when we arrived it was complete by the time we finished booking our excursions with the very helpful and well informed concierge. I suggest taking advantage of the hotels one day bicycle rental for 100 baht and seeing the old city. You... More

The Bodhi Serene has a modest exterior, but as soon you you step in to the open-air lobby, you know you're in a nice boutique hotel. The garden-style hotel feels airy and open, with tons of green space and an amazing infinity pool and surrounding lounge area. The rooms are tastefully decorated with Thai artwork and hard wood floors. The... More

I recently stayed at the Bodhi Serene while on an organized tour. This property is within the old city with many conveniences close by, including laundry facilities, small local restaurants, cheap massage parlours and for diehard shoppers, the famous Sunday night street market. The Bodhi is a small boutique hotel. It's young staff is friendly and helpful. I didn't encounter... More

I stayed there for 3 nights. It's not far from the downtown, you even can walk and safe. The hotel looks really great in Thai style. I really love its design. Swimming Pool. Great small garden in the middle. Quiet. And easy to make connection with red taxi. I love breakfast time where set up at the ground floor at... More

A nice hotel but I don't think it's worth the price paid (even with a sale on). Most of the food was really good except we got nachos appetiser room service one day and it was terrible. Just some stale chips on a plate with a side of diced tomato and guacamole. Bath is massive, looks impressive, but is very... More
