I must admit I always feel apprehensive when booking hotels without personal recommendations but I found trip advisor to be spot on with this one. As I read in a review recently, the hotel isn't anything to write home about from the outside street, but once you walk inside you forget you're even in a town as the hotel is... More

My daughter and I stayed here for 6 nights during the Songkran festival. We booked directly with the hotel. The hotel doesn't look like much outside, but once you come in and go up the ramp inside to the first floor, the lobby area and swimming pool areas are lovely. We had a twin room and like most it faced... More

The Bodhi Serene is in a good location - about 15 minutes walk to the Night Bazaar or the Saturday market. At night the rooms are quiet in terms of outdoor noise - but you can hear your neighbors if they talk loud. The rooms are large - we stayed in one with three twin beds and still had plenty... More

The Bodhi Serene in Chiang Mai is in a Great location, within city walls, large rooms and the swimming pool was perfect. The breakfast was of a good quality snd there are bicycles for hire. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Love this hotel. It is peaceful and quiet with excellent service. Just three floors, all with balconies facing a central courtyard. There are no lifts or elevators in this hotel so not wheelchair friendly. Some of the rooms are pretty old but it feels more like home than other 5 stars hotel with too modern look which is devout of... More

I really enjoyed our stay at the Bodhi Serene in late March of 2013. The hotel really makes you feel like you are in an oasis with the use of outdoor space. Beautiful flowers and gardens are nestled throughout the complex making the hotel feel exotic and luxurious. The service is exceptional and everyone at the front desk made us... More

Very nice and charming and quiet hotel and garden however in the city center, with lots of places to visit at short distance (walk or by tuk-tuk). Very friendly and helpful staff and also interesting and not expensive excursion-service inside the hotel. We twice took the english speaking driver (with luxury A/C toyota 4x4) for a whole day and he... More

Bodhi Serene is so peaceful and physically lovely. We truly loved our 3 night stay. we perhaps would have been better off shaving a day off our 5 night stay in Hanoi and stayed another day at Bodhi. Our room was large with a balcony overlooking their garden. When we did "Facetime" with so e friends back home, they asked... More

I stayed at the Bodhi Serene for just four nights (March 28-31), and wish it could have been longer! Once inside its walls, it was as if the busy city outside just disappeared. Since this was a short vacation after several days of business in Singapore, l loved this opportunity for a little peace and quiet. The central garden is... More
