This is a wonderful hotel in a quiet area of the city but within walking distance of everything. The accomodation is comfortable, the pool a real bonus but the thing that gives this place the edge is it's staff. They really take time to engage with guests and provide a first class service. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

I stayed at the Rimping Village for two nights upon arriving in Chiang Mai in late January. Overall I was very pleased with the resort. It was well located, close to the Rimping grocery store where we were able to stock up on essentials. The hotel gave us great recommendations - particularly for massages. It was also close to the... My wife and I stayed here for four nights in March in a family suite, plenty of room. The location was great for us, around 10 minutes walk to Night bazaar, Andusan food markets, massage outlets and supermarket. The cooked brekki , either Western or Thai, was average; better off with the yummy Khao Tom rice porridge. Restaurant food is... More

I was nervous when we first booked a stay here for our trip to Chiang Mai, but we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff is very friendly and nice. They will even help you book anything from massages to excursions and even arranging to ship souvenirs home. Free breakfast is a plus and they have lots of fruit, cereals,... More

This is a beautiful little hotel with a pool surrounded by tropical trees. Breakfast is quite good and includes western foods. You can sit out by the huge banyan tree. It's delightful in every way and the staff are friendly and helpful. The night bazaar as well as the city temples are a fairly short walk from the hotel. If... More

This is our 5th trip to Chiang Mai and we finally found a great hotel. The hotel is located about a 10 minute easy walk to the night market area across the Old iron bridge on the Ping river. The hotel is extremely quiet with a lovely pool. The staff were attentive and friendly and breakfast was very good with the... More

Respond to this post by replying above this line New post on fineeating Rimping Village is hard to beat for value, location and service (including a free airport transfer if you book directly). Spacious rooms are located around a lovely pool and or garden area. Deluxe rooms are around $140 including breakfast in the busy season and worth the extra... More

The location is great, near the night market but someone manages to feel calm and quiet. The service is outstanding. The staff should be complemented on their excellent English and the wonderful welcome they give. The breakfast and rooms are good. The swimming pool is lovely and refreshing.

I'm writing this review from the peaceful pool area, we have loved our 3 night stay here. The rooms, pool and dining area are all lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful without being over the top. The location is spot on, it is close enough to explore the best bits of Chiang Mai, especially if you use... More

This is a top saver, for the quality provided in a quieter end of the city, so you will get a nice rest. There aren't any bars, or a noisy road nearby as in other hotels of the city. You will save money if you choose Rimping Village. Although located outside the city centre, this hotel is near the night... More
