We booked this at the last minute based on Trip Advisor reviews. It was a wonderful place to stay. Out of main area but close enough to get away from hustle and bustle. The staff could not do enough for us. I would love to stay here again if I am ever in Chaing Mai and would recommend it to... More

Excellent hotel, only a short taxi ride from the airport. Food excellent, staff verY friendly and helpful; an iron and ironing board were delivered to room within minutes of request. Pool and loungers - very peaceful and relaxing. Close to evening markets, supermarket and coffee shops. Overall, a nice, relaxing experience - would definitely recommend. No complaints at all.

We stayed 3 nights at the Rimping Village Hotel after 3 wonderful nights in Chiang Dao. It was more expensive than I had originally budgeted but with rooms fast booking out in our preferred hotels we opted to spend the extra $ on a family size room and stay at Rimping Village. We were not disappointed with the extra cost.... More

We stayed at Rimping Village fr four nights at the start of our holiday. We loved the hotel, the staff were really friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed in an upstairs room away from the pool which was lovely and peaceful. The hotel has a supermarket close by if you need provisions and is well situated for local restaurants and... More

Rimping Village is a great little hotel with exceptional staff and was a good sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai's older district. The front of the house greeted us warmly upon arrival and check in was a breeze. The staff speaks excellent English (the best we heard in Thailand) so a big kudos to that. The English... More

Quite colonial in its feel, this is a quiet and charming hotel, rooms were very clean and comfortable. There is a nice swimming pool and there is drink and food service around the pool or in the little restaurant all day. Particularly good for couples or groups of friends.

I don't stay in 5-star hotels, but for us, this hotel was an all-out 5-star experience! A lovely "tropical" feel to the place, with a very accommodating staff, quiet (despite being off a pretty busy city street), wonderful breakfast included in the price, within walking distance to lots of good stuff (the city center, temples, the night market, the Sunday... We stayed only one night at Rimping Village and wish it had been more. The staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and included both Thai and Western food. Our room was lovely- beautifully decorated and quiet. I especially appreciate a quiet and peaceful place to stay in a crowded and noisy city like Chiang Mai.

Rimping Village feels quaint and homely. The staff is very friendly here. We didn't use their sightseeing services as you can get cheaper options by arranging it yourself, but they were very helpful nevertheless. The breakfast is simple but it does the job. The rooms are clean and it's quiet and relaxing. We would've preferred if it was closer to... More

Rimping Village is 30-min cab drive from the airport (160 bht), 25-min walk (80 bht by tuk-tuk)to Sunday Market (a must visit), 18-min walk to night bazaar (so so)/food street. Beautiful tropical grounds with a nice pool. There are mosquitoes (one was in my room when I checked in but I was prepared with a can of repellent) and bees... More
