Picked up early in the morning from the railway station in a luxury van. The room wasn't ready but a complementary breakfast and the pool made time pass quickly. Room was huge: two extra mattresses and a sofa bed for our 3 boys easily fitted in. Staff were extremely friendly. We really appreciate the birthday cake for my husband. Kids... More

This little hotel was perfect for my husband and i to stay in over a weekend in Chiang Mai. - Great value for money. - The location was great. Walking distance to some great restaurants and the Night Bazaar. - The staff were excellent and super helpful and amazingly gracious and went out of their way to accommodate. They helped... More

We were welcomed at the airport by the stunningly beautiful hotel manager. The airport transfer car was surprisingly luxurious and comfortable. We had a very nice friendly arrival at the hotel but were not impressed by the room and other facilities as we had expected better for the price we paid (about 90 USD). Breakfast was also not very good... More

I have been remiss in writing a review for a visit in March 2014 for 18 days. My husband and I had a great time and it was because of the staff. Our room was great (above dining area), but bed was hard for me. The staff added a mattress pad that helped a great deal. I found the restaurant... More

We wanted to finish our 2 week stay in Thailand in a resort where we could relax and enjoy a peaceful weekend. We got it at the Rimping Village. The saltwater pool is perfect and is a lovely temperature as it is not covered by trees or shade. The rooms are large and clean. The beds are very firm, as... More

It's been well over a year since our stay, but the experience is still in our memory. This was our first visit to Chiang Mai, but we aren't the type to sign up for "tours". We chose this hotel based on the many positive reviews, and have to say, they knew what they were talking about. The staff greeted us... More

This was our 2nd visit to Rimping Village. We stayed in a family suite. The room was large, clean but seemed to be getting abit dated and tired. During our stay, workmen were painting outside our room. The paint smell was very strong so I requested management to reschedule painting. I think they must have done so because the smell... More

Wonderful staff, helpful & friendly, eager to make your stay pleasant. We were met at the train station by the hotel driver - so nice not to have to deal with the touts! Front staff met us with a cold drink & showed us around, later arranged for our elephant outing with Ran Tong & also for a tuktuk driver... More

The reason to choose this hotel isn’t its rooms (which are big and spacious but lack of furniture) or the breakfast that isn’t rich enough in my opinion. The reason to choose this hotel is because the service you get. From the moment they picked us at the airport, through our entire stay, they were there to accommodate all of... More
