Nice hotel, not far from the railwaystation and close to the center of the city. Close to nightmarkets. You can walk it all, but tuktuks are also always around. Friendly and helpfull staff! Acceptable rooms, nice restaurant and nice swimming pool. What else do you need?

We had a three night stay here in August and cannot fault it, the staff were extremely efficient in every way, arranging transfers, taxi's, suggesting things to do, maps and directions. Rooms were a good size and very clean, and breakfasts were excellent. The pool was very welcoming after being out all day, and there were always sun beds available... More

We started our five night stay thinking it was just average but as time went on I felt it was fair to revise upwards. However, I understand the reservations of those that rated it lower. One guest checked out and left for a hotel 60% more expensive! Another refers to the size of the swimming pool and the noise of... More

The room was well maintained, simple, and had good air conditioning as well as a nice bathtub and shower. 2 Free bottles of water were given each day, there are free movies to borrow (in blue ray), and a good restaurant attached. The night market is a 15 minute walk away. One negative, however, as with almost every place-you are... More

Picked up early in the morning from the railway station in a luxury van. The room wasn't ready but a complementary breakfast and the pool made time pass quickly. Room was huge: two extra mattresses and a sofa bed for our 3 boys easily fitted in. Staff were extremely friendly. We really appreciate the birthday cake for my husband. Kids... More

This little hotel was perfect for my husband and i to stay in over a weekend in Chiang Mai. - Great value for money. - The location was great. Walking distance to some great restaurants and the Night Bazaar. - The staff were excellent and super helpful and amazingly gracious and went out of their way to accommodate. They helped... More

We were welcomed at the airport by the stunningly beautiful hotel manager. The airport transfer car was surprisingly luxurious and comfortable. We had a very nice friendly arrival at the hotel but were not impressed by the room and other facilities as we had expected better for the price we paid (about 90 USD). Breakfast was also not very good... More

I have been remiss in writing a review for a visit in March 2014 for 18 days. My husband and I had a great time and it was because of the staff. Our room was great (above dining area), but bed was hard for me. The staff added a mattress pad that helped a great deal. I found the restaurant... More

We wanted to finish our 2 week stay in Thailand in a resort where we could relax and enjoy a peaceful weekend. We got it at the Rimping Village. The saltwater pool is perfect and is a lovely temperature as it is not covered by trees or shade. The rooms are large and clean. The beds are very firm, as... More

It's been well over a year since our stay, but the experience is still in our memory. This was our first visit to Chiang Mai, but we aren't the type to sign up for "tours". We chose this hotel based on the many positive reviews, and have to say, they knew what they were talking about. The staff greeted us... More
