Walking distance to the Old City, but not directly in it. Advantage is that its quiet, and oasis. Disadvantage is that at night traffic and lighting making the walk not easy. Rooms are nice, staff very helpful. We had a courtyard room with a small lanai which was nice to sit out and enjoy tea/coffee in the morning.

We spent 4days in this charmant oasis in the center of Chiang Mai. The hôtel is beautiful, the staff is so welcoming and efficient ( spécial thanks to Deese and Art) . The breakfast is plentyfull & délicious . The swingpool is refreshing & offres à unique view over a magical tree. Rimping village is the place to stay in... More

I recently stayed at Rimping Village by myself on bookend nights of a volunteer week at the Elephant Nature Park sanctuary about an hour and a half outside of Chiang Mai. My experience with Rimping – from my first Internet inquiry months in advance, to the very comfortable, air-conditioned ride back to the airport, was outstanding. The staff here is... More

My husband and I decided to stay here because of the good reviews on trip advisor but we ended up being a bit disappointed. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff. They were fantastic and very helpful. Nothing was too much for them. What let it down for us though was the room. It was certainly very spacious... More

This hotel had everything. Location was amazing. The staff were so lovely and helpful. It was clean and although a little old had all the modern conveniences. Breakfast by the pool was simply amazing. Try the deserts.. Yummy. Free bike hire was a big plus and having a supermarket around the corner was brilliant.

we travel a lot and have been to amazing hotels, and please trust me when I say that this hotel is brilliant. The level of service was impeccable from start to finish. The room was huge, lovely and clean and the shower room was great too. Nice pool area which unfortunately didn't get much sun due to the huge tree... More

A really relaxing spot. Whilst the design / layout of the hotel is attractive and the breakfast choice is comprehensive and of a high standard, it is the staff that really make this an outstanding hotel. They made my family, including two children under 4, so welcome. Whilst it is not in the old town, we found the location to... More

Stayed here for 6 nights and booked based on the excellent reviews on TA. Booked direct with the hotel several months in advance and received prompt reply to my internet inquiry. We were picked up at the airport in a lovely Mercedes van. It was very welcoming after a 30+hr trip. Hotel is located about 25 min from the airport... More

Stayed here 2 nights in early January 2015. Liked the resort a few details: Room: we had the basic room, it was nice, clean, air-cond worked well, basic amenities. Grounds: Hotel is a smallish boutique, but the grounds and pool were well maintained and pretty. Location: Really quick walk to good eats and shopping etc. We also stayed at the... More
