We stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed our experience. The location is great, the room was spacious and smelled amazing, the food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were so helpful and kind. When rushing back to the room to check out and run to the airport I stupidly lost the key to the... More

Everything you need, staff were very helpful, kept our bags for us when we went on trips free of charge, always had room available, also the breakfasts were great. Perfect location just 2 minutes from the main street but down a lane so that its quiet and it was clean and cheap, even had a hot shower unlike most of... More

Cosy little guesthouse with basic amenities. Our room was small (which was no issue) and the toilet/shower wet room combination took some getting used to, although the sink was outside, behind a door which had to be kept shut to prevent mosquitoes coming inside. Next to this door was our only window, the ones on the other side opening onto... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of room we got for the price. A comfortable bed a room with some soft furnishings and a clean bathroom. The only strange thing was that the sink was outside behind a door with a keep closed, Mosquitos sign on it. We braved it and used it... More

My friend and I stayed here for a few days whilst in Chiang Mai. We were back packing and had been advised by a friend it was a great place, have to admit I was sceptical because I am admittedly a bit high maintenance when it comes to hotels. However, this place was amazing! Rooms are a decent size, bathroom... More

I stayed here for a month in a private room and I loved it. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Not expensive either. I loved this guesthouse and Chiang Mai and can't wait to go back!

Really chilled guesthouse with excellent (but a little expensive) breakfasts....They are huge so you get value for money. The upper rooms have small balcony's. Nice places to chill downstairs. Rooms have cable TV with a lot of English channels with movies. The whole place has WiFi :D.

We switched our hotels after staying at the recommended and over-priced far away Sabai House. We just walked down Moonmuang Rd. and found this place. It was about half the price of our previous accommodations and got us a lot closer to where we wanted to be. The rooms are clean and pretty good, and it was surprisingly quiet considering... More

We stayed at this place for 5 nights. It wasn't the cheapest during our traveling so far (9weeks) but it was worth the money. Clean, big room with private bathroom and a balcony. They have a restaurant (with a different name) and they only serve breakfast and cakes but the breakfast is really good (not included in the room price,... More

The Thapaegate Lodge is the best place to stay in Chiang Mai, if you are on a budget. The location is perect, in the southeastern part of the moat, from here you can easily walk to the attractions in the center of Chiang Mai or catch a cheap Tuk Tuk - the owner will helpyou to get one if you...
