After driving through Chiang Mai from the station to the hotel, we were immediately impressed on the welcoming aspect of this hotel, which made it stand out from the surrounding houses. There are trees and foliage at the entrance, a small pool with carp, and the lighting, floor tiles and wooden stairs and banisters give a warm and friendly appearance.... More

Clean, comfortable with helpful and pleasant staff. Staff are helpful in selecting tours and were always attentive. The old city is an easy 10 min walk away. Our stay was very pleasant except for one matter; the neighboring house has a variety of caged bids so we had incessant and monotonous bird calls from dawn to dusk

We booked this hotel before arriving in Chiang Mai and were pleasantly supported when we checked in. The hotel is situated just outside the old town walls and easily within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful through our 4 night stay. The hotel also has a medium sized courtyard which was nice to relax in with a... More

We stayed at Tadkham for Christmas and New Year. The price was good, the staff were good, the hotel was great, really good homely feel to it. The rooms were huge and really comfy, cleaned everyday to a good standard. The reception staff were ready and willing to lend a hand in organising trips or just to say hi. The in house massages were... More

Cheap and simple but clean and perfectly suited to our needs. Didnt have any issues getting our laundry done. Staff were friendly. They let us leave our bags after we checked out because we out all day on a tour. The location is a bit out of the way but it depends what you are looking for. Its about 5-10... More

We stayed at Tadkham Village for 5 nights because of the good reviews. The atmosphere is nice outside, but the beds are extremely hard and some of the employees are rude. When we got into our room, there was a list of rules and etiquette for the hotel and there was also a price list for extra pillows, blankets, etc...... More

This hotel was an amazing retreat. It was simple in terms of accommodation but A+ in service! It was tucked away from the craziness of the city and a short 5-6 minute walk away from the Chang Mai Gate which led directly into the heart of the city. The staff spoke great English and were able to guide us to... More

I stayed here 4days. Overall the stay was pleasant. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Room was big n clean. Only issue is if you're a light sleeper, the room isn't very sound proof. And I wish they would allow guests to do their own laundry. Not that I was a cheapskate. Its just that I dint like how they... More

Tadkham village hotel was a great find in busy Chiang Mai- quaint and pretty, with really friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in room 211 and were very happy with the qualitiy and size of the room. It was very comfortable and most importantly very clean. Tadkham is in a great location- close to all the sites in Chaing Mai,... More

We arrives really late at night and were worried we'd miss heck in but they were there waiting for us with a big smile. All throughout were thoroughly smiley, helpful and kind. A beautiful little place about 5 minutes tuk tuk from the centre, the night market is well worth a visit as is the half day cycle tour of... More
