very clean rooms in THE main building. Nice swimming pool and those who need there is a sauna and jacuzzi also. THE breakfast is more than OK , they, even bake your eggs like you, want. The location is very central in Chiang Mai, on walking distance from night bazar. THE staf is very friendly and you get a daily vree drink... More

This hotel is very centrally located to the main strip of Chiang Mai, with easy access through the various laneways to whichever direction takes your fancy, especially the daily night bazaar, and for about 10 minutes more in the other direction you will reach the more interesting Saturday night market. On street level the hotel is flanked on both sides... More

This hotel left a lot to be desired. The staff were inattentive and spent more time on facebook than tending to patrons. When you walked thru the lobby you were lucky to raise even an eyebrow of any of the staff. With the exception of the bell hop who was all smiles and happy to assist and engage with us.... More

The hotel seems to be an old, well-known one so you don't have to explain to drivers where it's located. It's within walking distance (no more than 2km) to anywhere in the old town and also the chiang mai night bazaar.Compared to the hotel we stayed in Bangkok (Royal view resort), Maninarakorn is more expensive but the service and facility... Maninarakorn is a hotel very close to the Chiang Mai night market, which is rather handy because that is the only place to hang out in Chiang Mai at night. Also, the hotel has an outdoor restaurant called Gecko Garden very close to it which has amazing food and good ambiance at very decent prices. The hotel is pretty central... More

We booked this hotel after both having been to Chiang Mai a couple of times previously and staying at the Shangri_La. For this trip our budget was tighter but we wanted to get the best we could for the price. After comparing several hotels, we are so glad we picked this one...reckon it is a bit a secret as there... After deciding that we wanted to visit Chiang Mai for the days leading up to and including the November full moon, we set about trying to find a hotel that fell in to the 'middle of the road' category of establishments; not too lavish, but not particuarly cheap (relatively) either. Thus my girlfriend and I opted for the Maninarakorn. Upon... More

For the price your paying this is worth the money. The hotel has a new main building and 2 adjacent ones which are old. The old ones however have really large rooms. The guards are friendly. There's a nice cafe just outside the hotel that offers a good selection of drinks and snacks for a reasonable price. The facilities here... More

My husband and I stayed here for a total of six nights, with a break in the middle for a tour. Both our rooms were on the 'residence' side of the hotel. We chose the hotel for its proximity to the night market, which was a short walk away. Tha Pae Gate and other attractions were also within walking distance.... More
