I'd say this hotel is comparable to an Embassy Suites. My sister and I stayed here on vacation for 3 days. We booked a "Superior Room" for $32 a night, w/ 2 twin beds off of Hotels.com. The hotel was pretty nice... The room we stayed in could have use a paint job, but other than that, it was clean... More

Good value, convenient location. Breakfast was a little repetitive but more than acceptable. Friendly staff. Close to the night markets and walkable distance to old city although there isn't a great deal in terms of restaurants immediately around the hotel itself. More

I stayed here for 4 nights in early May 2012. I've been to Thailand once before but never Chiang Mai and really was happy with teh Maninarakorn Hotel. It's just 15 minutes from the airport and `120 baht taxi fare. The location is great and very close to the night market, river restaurants, and the sights inside the wall. I... More

The rooms in this hotel were a really good size...it was like an apartment, with a lounge, bathroom and bedroom. There was no view in the room I stayed in but for the price i didn't expect one. The size of the rooms made up for that. We got free drinks vouchers and wi-fi vouchers for every day we stayed... More

I am on a working holiday, so my days are free but I have to work on my computer and do internet calls to my clients late at night. This hotel offers exceptional value for the money. Internet was consistently strong, Deluxe Terrace room in the old part of the hotel was very large (living room, bathroom and bedroom), and... More

Stayed here for week & had a good stay. Comfortable room (in main building), helpful staff & good breakfast. Good location - about 10 min walk from Sunday walking street - but in a quiet spot. Free iced coffee everyday. More

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon while we were in Chiang Mai. It's great because it's so centrally located, clean, spacious and gorgeous! Beautiful hotel with apartment-like rooms. We purchased the cheapest of Maninarakorn's rooms and were pleasantly surprised when we walked into a living room that had a hallway attached that led to the bathroom and... More

The staff were not overly welcoming on arrival but did at least call a porter to help with our bags (there is no lift and our room was on the second floor). The room was clean on arrival and was a good size. Although each time the room was cleaned during our stay it was not done to the same... More

We stayed 4 nights in the building nextdoor, and was not impressed. They didn't have a lift, the floors were dusty and dirty, there were cobwebs in the corners of the living room, the curtains were stained, the towels were old, the bathroom basic and there were ants everywhere. Apart from neatly making our beds, you could tell that the... More

Tis was my fifth trip to Chiang Mai and being rushed i hadn't booked. The taxi driver suggested C H Hotel located close to the ladies market but i walked in and walked out (see separate review). I had tried to get into the Maninarakorn on my previous visit but it was booked out, so i thought lets just roll... More
