We really enjoyed our stay here. I agree with previous comments about the entrance being very grand but then we were given a room in the 'old' part of the building however you can clearly see that this is in the process of being renovated and brought up to the standard of the main lobby so we didn't have a... This review is only for the residents area as from what I've seen the hotel is of a much higher quality. They allowed us to check in immediately despite us arriving at 9.30am which was great, and there was one lady behind reception with long dark hair wearing a dress whole was very friendly, however the other woman behind the... The imposing entrance is closely followed by an imposing foyer, and a swift and effective check-in. Then it all falls to bits. Rooms are cell-like at best, with a small sitting area facing a very dirty, high window complete with a view over cluttered rooftops to some pretty looking hills. No balcony means that to get to some fresh air... More

I booked three nights through expedia and it was around 700 bhats per night. When I arrived the room, I felt it was very nice deal!! i booked Deluxe Residence Old Wing room which was in a old side building, not in a shining main building. However, the room was huge! Bed room and living room were separated and both... More

This hotel has probably had its best years; Anyway the rooms we had was old, but clean; needs refurbishing but had it's charms. it was cheap and we had a whole appartment. Water and coffee complementary. Free Wifi. It did the job for our needs. A good bed and the shower was ok. Airco makes some noise but you get... More

We stayed at the Maninarakorn while looking for a condo to stay for a couple of months. We booked a suite on the higher floors as we were pretty loaded with luggage. The room was very spacious with a good view over the city and Doi Suthep. The bed was comfortable and shower good. The hotel is central to everything... More

We stayed for 10 days. Had the breakfast package for 2 days. Good quality and excellent variety. We booked thru a booking site and much cheaper than the hotel website. Felt v safe. Security at entrance 24/7. Clean. Free wifi. Friendly staff. Restaurants and food stalls within short distance. Beautiful pool. Gym. Sauna. Massage available. Excellent location: around the corner... We had a really big room in the old wing which was great. A bit worn down, but very spacious and well taken care off. The location was perfect, just outside the central so it was quit but still walking distance. Very close to the night market too! A nice pool (although small) and a gym (very basic) in the... More

There is so much accommodation available in Chiang Mai - and I had been in-town before, but decided to try this place. I had a 'superior residence queen room' officially - but it was really a Suite and it was first rate! The only drawback of the whole visit was that the pool was not operational! The room was clean,... More
