No major complaints. Clean authentic rooms, polite staff, good space, pretty good breakfast buffet, located in the main city core. Nice pool, not too busy, tourists from everywhere in the world of all ages. In close proximity to many tourist attractions and restaurants. We were very comfortable staying here and would come back again.

BLUF: great value! clean, modern, friendly staff, free/good wifi connection - toiletries provided, comfortable bed - free wifi, fast and reliable -- you do need to keep logging in, but it's worth it - free water, tea, instant coffee, and juice in room (2 each) - no in-room safe, though - free coke or iced coffee in the AM --... I have stayed in this hotel many times both when travelling alone and with family. The hotel is located between the night bazaar and the old city with an easy wak to both. I prefer when I stay to be in the 'residences' which are consist of a bedroom bathroom and small lounge, This hotel although centraly located is quiet... More

The lower priced rooms are all in the old building which had no lift. Those rooms were actually bigger with a bedroom and then living area. However TV was not in bedroom. Aphone but know acces to the desk which is at the other building which has the pool, resteraunt. I paid 400 baht per day extra as I didn't... More

Bit of a strange place as 2 seperate hotels.the tower contains small average rooms and outside the hotel have apartments, called residences that are cheaper and much bigger.stayed in one by mistake (careful what u book).probably best of 2 choices tho. bad points: bathroom not good, broken shelf, flush, low doorframe, no wifi in room, tv off sometimes, no view.... We are 2 backpackers and decided to "splurge" a little. We found this hotel for 850 baht, we came mostly for the pool, little did we know we were getting our own small apartment! (In the old building) We had a living room, bedroom and bathroom all furnished in a lovely Authentic Thai custom. The pool was nice too. And... More

You can do a lot better for the price and location in Chiang Mai. I would not stay here again when I come back to Chiang Mai. Trip and slip hazards abound as do head impacts on low hanging ceiling corners in stair Wells. Beware! No safety markings at all. Rooms very poor. Gaps in doors. Hot water in shower... More

Stayed with my boyfriend at Maninarakorn from 11th-15th April 2014 during Songkran water festival (Thai new year) Decent price for our hotel given the location too.The suite we were given was huge. Big living room area, quite spacious bathroom & a huge bedroom. Room was kept clean throughout our whole stay. However, the bed was the most uncomfortable we have... More

The hotel is nice and the staff friendly; however when asking for information about the city they are always confused and can't really help. The room was really spacious and clean but our water pressure in the bathroom was really weak. If they paint the walls and change the broken sofa and repair a few things it would be better.... More

I stayed at the Maninarakorn Hotel from 8-15th of April 2014 with my girlfriend. After reading comments on trip advisor I decided to book a suite which was spacious, clean and nice enough. I found the cost to be quite reasonable also for a suite especially. but in saying that I have stayed in much nicer suites in the past... More
