We had drinks at the bar downstairs. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The band was very versatile n entertaining. We would come back to this place again definitely. They had a good following, I guess. This place makes Sunday walking street interesting.

I passed by this hotel when I was in Chiang Mai this past January, liked its location and charming exterior (I never checked out the rest of it), and decided I would stay there the next time I was CM as the amazing Sunday Night Market runs past it. The location is great as there're eating places, massage spas, &... More

We stayed in this quirky, little, colonial style hotel in January and on a further trip earlier this month we decided to stay again. Excellent service, nothing too much trouble attitude makes it a place we will always return to. Thanks for helping to make our break such a great one.

We did not stay here, but went in for food and drinks. Then returned for drinks again on another day, The gyoza that we had was freshly cooked and full of filling. Presented nicely and very cheap. The thing that got us coming back though, we the smoothies. Their Lime, Ginger + Honey smoothie is simply devine. On a level... More

Let me start by saying that we did not stay at the hotel but had a snack & drinks at the lounge. Great people watching as it is located on the street that the Sunday Night Market is on. We had Pork Satay & Spring Rolls, Satay was good but the Spring Rolls were on the greasy side. The beer... More

The location is almost in the exact center of the old city which is very nice if you want to do touring around there. However, be aware of sunday night walking street. It is fun to people watch but is very difficult to try and get out of the old city that evening. The staff is extremely friendly and speaks... More

Centrally located in old town Chiang Mai. Easy to walk around. Sunday market right in front of the hotel. Room 405 : Bad bathtub location. Water all over when you take a shower. ** Be careful when you book. Make sure that you understand their 13 days cancellation. Even you shorten your stay after you were there, they still charge... Great location, great friendly service, lovely breakfasts and great vibe during the evenings. Enjoyed being in the midst of the Sunday street market, meant Sunday was the liveliest night we had in Chiang Mai. While rooms may be a bit dated, it also meant the hotel had more character and charm. Special mention and thanks to Tony who was permanently... More

We stayed in Villa Duang Champa for three nights. The hotel is very well located, in the middle of the historic city's main road. On Sundays, the night market happens on this very same road. On the positive side: you can watch the comers and goers from the hotel terrace, listening to the live music and having a beer or... More

I usually stay a little closer to the Tha Pae gate area. I always ensure I am in Chiang Mai over the weekend and VDC is situated in one of the best locations to enjoy the walking street market. The welcome was warm and we were shown to our rooms by Tony who quickly became a wonderful host. The hotel... More
