Firstly I am not the type to complain about little things like dust on a curtain but this hotel was very disappointing. Stayed with a group of friends. Two very different rooms. The standard room (I stayed in) reeked of cat urine. I notified reception, was immediately given a new room - kudos to the lady at the front desk.... More

This popular hotel has a great location inside the old city and not so far of the night market and the sunday market. But the hotel is very noisy, The beds are terrible and the shower in the bathroom had no water. The rooms was dirty and no body came to clean it after we complain at the lobby. Swimming... More

We first slept one night in the standard room: DON'T DO THIS! Beds were terrible, and I won't even start about the bathroom. It was a miracle that the room didn't fall apart, a lot of stuff in the room was broken or wasn't clean. AIRCO DID NOT WORK WELL. Only positive thing: there was a refridgerator. We also had... More

First the good stuff....Great location. Just inside the old city wall and straight across from the night market you're a short walk to everything. The staff are okay and the rooms are reasonably priced, if the place ia little run down. The pool is nice and clean and a real treat after a month on the road. The down sides....dogs... More

The hotel is very run down. Our shower has not worked properly since arrival and despite asking 3 times at reception, no one has fixed it. A man just turned up and said it works and is hot, even though it's stone cold. Staff don't seem to care!!!! Waste of money staying here when we've had better accommodation in a... More

We got a room on the 4th floor in the old block (900 baht without brekky). No lift to here too. The place has been here for years and is run down a bit. Rooms I believe have been reapainted recently but the fixutres and fittings certainly not. We had two problems there too of the aircon being blocked thus... More

The Staff and tour desk was very helpful and gave really good advice. The Hotel itself was very run down the room had bugs in it and the bathroom was very dirty. The location was good being inside the old town. Would recommend for tourists that want to break from the hostels.

We stayed in the newer part of the hotel and the rooms were very nice but one side of the hotel backs on to the Thai boxing stadium - very noisy every night !! We swapped rooms and had a pool view which was much quieter. Would not pay for breakfast again as it is very basic and stone cold,... More

We had one of the newer rooms and it was small but thoughtfully designed. However it is at the front of the property and very near both a loud rock pub and the Thai boxing stadium - so be warned! The older rooms are further away from the noise but look like they might be rather run-down. I'd avoid a... More

We picked this hotel as it has good car parking which is hard to find in Chiang Mai city centre, At only 900 baht per night including breakfast it offers fair value, so I won't complain too loudly about the state of the room and the basic breakfast. I'll stay here again but I think the hotel could liven up... More
