Location is fine, staff were almost invisible, which is good, and the room was clean. Nothing more to day really. This is what you get for 1,300 baht in Chiang Mai. Shower could have been a little warmer.

After staying at several higher end hotels, moving to a budget hotel was a bit of a let down. We booked for New Year's Eve and even though we booked a month out, most places were full or close to full. The location is great and we enjoyed being able to walk to the old city, the river area and... More

The arrival was fairly late but the receptionist gave me a very warm welcome. The bed size as advertised on their website is wrong , they state 1.3m X 1.5 m , of course the bed was much larger something like 1.8m x 1.8m. So far so good. The rooms are basic and the decor is very dark. They have a... More

Excellent location very close to the old city. Large, clean room with good wifi connection and well protected against entry of mosquitoes unlike most of the other hotels we stayed at in this region. All the staff we had contact with were very helpful and good natured, especially the concierge. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel there are... More

Stayed here for one night. It is close to the city centre so you can walk there but also in a very quiet location. The rooms were really great and I would happily go back there. The staff were so helpful - we had an issue with the bus company we were using to get back to Bangkok and they... More

I was most disappointed with the hotel. It's so run down and gloomy. I booked the more expensive room because I saw there was a balcony but it was sealed up and used for the A/C condenser. When we are going for a holiday trip, we should choose a hotel that has the appropriate ambience as it will affect the... More

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a few issues with the WiFi in the room, but it was dealt with competently and immediately. I did not try the breakfast, so cannot comment on this. The room was clean and spacious and quiet. The hotel has been there for a while, which is starting the show, but it... More

Receptionist are friendly and helpful. Room is big and clean and quiet; away from the bustling city, good retreat after a day of sight seeing. You can also get a dip in the small pool at the nearby Royal Peninsula Hotel (think they belong to same group?) Its a straight road; about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the old... More

The rooms are large and reasonably clean, though rather tired, but for the price, very reasonable. A good location, near the corner of the old city. We did see a rat run through the reception..... You can use the pool at the sister hotel nearby, all in all a good choice.

Close enough to the old city and bit cheaper than others. Disappointed that breakfast wasn't included so we didn't eat there but rooms have fridge if you want to store things there. Good sized rooms, first couple smelled of damp but they moved us without a problem. We stayed on 3rd floor and rooms were clean. Basic toiletries included and... More
