This 12 bedroom guest house was like a little oasis of peace just 5 minutes from shops, restaurants, market and other facilities in Chiang Mai. Beautifully landscaped pool which was cleaned every day. A lot of attention has been paid to the decoration of the house, which is all appointed in teak. Bathroom had a jacuzzi, but don't hold your... More

I like its location because it's not far from the "action". The hotel is very accessible.. You can take a nice walk to the market and restos or take the tuktuk or red pickup trucks. I prefer the latter because it saves me the hassle of haggling with tuktuk drivers. Just make sure u have the calling card of the... More

I read every review before booking our three night stay at AmataLanna. My Wife and I were more than pleased with everything about the place. There was some negative feedback in the reviews, and having run our own B& B in Byron Bay -Aus, for many years we have learned there is just no pleasing some people no matter what... More

Beautiful clean rooms with a nice jacuzzi to relax in.. Room was a bit dark, not a lot of daylight. Airco makes a lot of noise, breakfast was ok not special, small pool but good enough to cool down, staff friendly. Quite a hidden place in chiang mai, not far from old city!

Stayed three nights as a stopover between Europe and Australia. The hotel is located more to the edge of the old city which means everything is accessible but it's peaceful enough for a quiet rest. Booked directly with hotel, arriving by regulated taxi was easy and the welcome very warm. It's easy to get around Chiang Mai by hailing a... More

It was such a pleasure to stay here, everything is nicely done here: 4 poster beds, jacuzzi tubs, pot of orchids in the room, relaxing garden area around the pool where they serve breakfast. But the best part is the staff, they were so cheerful and helpful with everything we needed. Will definitely come back and highly recommend.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect!!! Great shower, tub and bathroom. Amazing free breakfast. Pool was great and made coming home after long days of exploring so refreshing. Awesome location too. Close to everything but not right on the beaten path.

Another lovely find in Chiang Mai. 5 mins walk from the night market is this lovely pretty oasis of calm, behind a wall. Only 12 rooms but all are beautifully appointed in Lanna style with really impressive bathrooms. Delicious breakfasts by the pool every morning and friendly attentive staff to help with all your needs. Free, quite fast, WIFI made... More

This hotel is like a little oasis of a busy road. You walk in and there is a sudden calm and tranquility. The rooms themselves are impressive, with lovely carved wooden doors and plenty if space inside. The gardens and pool make the whole place look like a sanctuary. There is free wifi. The hotel is within walking distance of... More

This peaceful B&B is just a few minutes away from the night market and a short tuk tuk ride from the old town. The pictures speak for themselves so no need to remark on how it looks. The breakfasts were made to order and you could have anything and everything on the menu with plenty of coffee. Very nice friendly... More
