Our family had a wonderful 5 nights stay in this beautiful little place! The pictures show just how the rooms and pool area are charming, but what they can't show is how much the staff is helpful, smiling and caring! This is, in my opinion, what made our stay so pleasant in Amata Lanna. Thank you! Breakfast is generous and... More

A nice place to stay, also with children. The pool is not large but nice enough to cool down. The rooms are large and the bathroom as well, at least in room 101. People are very friendly and helpfull. Its outside walkingdistance of the city center, but streettaxi's are cheap and fast. Its located near the river. Very good value... More

We loved this hotel. Highly recommended. We stayed at Amata Lanna for 5 nights in June 2015. It is a fab little place. Rooms are based around a central courtyard area with a small pool and a couple of lovely trees. It feels like a real escape and the walls keep it nice and quiet. The staff are amazing, really... We stayed at the Amata Lanna on our honeymoon in February 2015. We loved this hotel so much. There are only 12 rooms, so it almost feels like you're staying at a private home. Each morning, the amazing staff served us breakfast by the pool. Homemade omelets, local fruits and yogurt, plenty of great food to choose from. There are... More

It is a very beautiful and relax hotel for three of us! The hotel arranged triple beds for us before we request!! They are absolutely thoughtful~! We are very appreciated their arrangement!!! For the location, it is nearby lots of massage and spa, also we only take 10 mins for walking to the Night Bazaar market!!! Also, It is nearby... More

The hotel is totally Lanna style, from the buildings and exteriors to the inside of the rooms. Its a small place - maybe 15 rooms? - grouped on two levels around a pool/courtyard where you have breakfast under the trees or sunshades The rooms are plenty big with four poster beds draped in netting and antique sty;e furnishings. High ceilings,... More

I have more written about our Thailand adventures on my travel blog here, http://meghan-leigh.com/thailand-travel-blog-bangkok-and-chiang-mai/, but here is what I think specifically about Amata Lanna. This was by far our most authentic Thai hotel that we stayed at while vacationing in Thailand for 3 weeks. The rooms were clean with great air conditioning and beautifully crafted wood carvings. The bathrooms were... More

We just stayed at the resort as two families with 4 and 7 year old kids. The place has beautiful large and spacious thai style rooms which were great for a family. We even made use of the huge jetted tub! The small grounds were beautiful, mostly filled up by the pool in the center- but who needs more -... More

We stayed here as suggested by our travel agency as part of our Honeymoon. The initial impact of the place is very pleasant and almost displaced due to it being on a semi-busy street. The rooms were nice. The air system was good until during the night it would become humid and despite changing the temp it remained the same... More

I stayed 4 nights at Amata Lanna on the first floor in March 2015. The grounds were very quite, clean, welcoming and delightfully small...very relaxing. The staff were very accommodating and all smiles. My biggest concern, before arriving, was the only online options when booking were 1 double bed or 2 single beds. The double bed was actually a king... More
