It is a very beautiful and relax hotel for three of us! The hotel arranged triple beds for us before we request!! They are absolutely thoughtful~! We are very appreciated their arrangement!!! For the location, it is nearby lots of massage and spa, also we only take 10 mins for walking to the Night Bazaar market!!! Also, It is nearby... More

The hotel is totally Lanna style, from the buildings and exteriors to the inside of the rooms. Its a small place - maybe 15 rooms? - grouped on two levels around a pool/courtyard where you have breakfast under the trees or sunshades The rooms are plenty big with four poster beds draped in netting and antique sty;e furnishings. High ceilings,... More

I have more written about our Thailand adventures on my travel blog here, http://meghan-leigh.com/thailand-travel-blog-bangkok-and-chiang-mai/, but here is what I think specifically about Amata Lanna. This was by far our most authentic Thai hotel that we stayed at while vacationing in Thailand for 3 weeks. The rooms were clean with great air conditioning and beautifully crafted wood carvings. The bathrooms were... More

We just stayed at the resort as two families with 4 and 7 year old kids. The place has beautiful large and spacious thai style rooms which were great for a family. We even made use of the huge jetted tub! The small grounds were beautiful, mostly filled up by the pool in the center- but who needs more -... More

We stayed here as suggested by our travel agency as part of our Honeymoon. The initial impact of the place is very pleasant and almost displaced due to it being on a semi-busy street. The rooms were nice. The air system was good until during the night it would become humid and despite changing the temp it remained the same... More

I stayed 4 nights at Amata Lanna on the first floor in March 2015. The grounds were very quite, clean, welcoming and delightfully small...very relaxing. The staff were very accommodating and all smiles. My biggest concern, before arriving, was the only online options when booking were 1 double bed or 2 single beds. The double bed was actually a king... More

This 12 room boutique hotel is absolutely beautiful! It was personally designed and built by the owner twelve years ago. She used the old Thai architecture with stunning results. The teak wide plank flooring, the flowers, door locks, pool and brick wall reflect the detailed service provided by the owner. The breakfast with fresh fruit, homade yogurt, eggs, bacon, toast,... We had a brilliant stay for 3 nights in late January - the room was very comfortable, the garden and pool area are totally charming, but what really makes this place special is the staff. They absolutely can't do enough for you. The hotel is close to the atmospheric night market in Chiangmai, and there are some nice restaurants within... More

Perfect hotel. Quiet with wonderfully furnished rooms. Great staff, very friendly and willing to help in any way needed. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. The omelets and sticky rice with mangos-----along with the wonderful coffee were a big hit. The hotel is within walking distance to some great markets and restaurants. The night market (6pm to 11pm) was... More

This hotel was probably my favourite in Thailand. It is small (a dozen or so rooms) and features large rooms well furnished in dark wood. The doors and shutters are a feature as they are heavy, solid wood - possibly traditional Thai style and have real keys - no key cards here. The room was very clean though a loose... More
