We stayed here for 5 nights in early Jan as part of our honeymoon. Stunning grounds, traditional. Great staff who work to create a tranquil property and stay. Breakfast was the best we had in our 3 week trip. Wish we had booked sooner in order to secure a top floor room, as we felt quite lacking in privacy. Despite... More

This B&B is just a 5 minute walk from the night bazaar, which is a great location. The hotel itself is very authentic thai design. If you are looking for a small boutique like hotel, this is it. The rooms are very spacious. We stayed on the top floor with 2 twin beds which were a little on the hard... More

rating btw 3 and 4 : My family and I stayed here and had two downstairs rooms facing the pool / courtyard It took me a few days to warm up to Amata Lanna, as initially I wasn't as pleased, esp given the TA review. We appreciated the lovely breakfasts in the courtyard settings which was very restful, the staff... More

Overall this was a lovely stay but there are a few things to note that I didn't see on previous reviews. The good: - lovely room decoration, very traditional style - very pretty courtyard setting - friendly staff - big comfortable bed The less good: - downstairs rooms face directly onto courtyard so you can't really have the windows open... My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights before Xmas and really enjoyed our time here. All the staff are great and the service is faultless. The hotel itself has only 9 rooms all of which are appointed beautifully. The bathroom is awesome. Breakfast was really good with heaps of fresh fruit and we had omelettes every morning. Would... My girlfriend and I booked 5 nights at Amata Lanna in early November after searching exhaustively online for hotels in Chiang Mai. We had never been to Chiang Mai before so the only guidance we had was online reviews which is always scary. We eventually decided on Amata Lanna even though it was slightly more expensive to other comparable hotels... More

There's only 9 rooms in this guest house which means it's not crowded with people and all the staff go the extra mile to ensure you're taken care of. We arrived quite late to the hotel and didn't have small change for the cab driver, so my husband went into reception to change THB1000 note. He came back and paid... More

One of the most delightful hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. My wife and I had a wonderful week here in November 2014. Great Location, secluded and quiet, great staff, the manager cooks breakfast and you should request one of her Thai specialties. What more can one ask for. We will definitely return to Chiang Mai... Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to stay at Amanta Lanta so my review is off of their booking policies only. I booked 5 nights for this hotel 4 months before my visit which will be in Januray 2015. Three months ago my itinerary changed, so I contacted Expedia to see if they could change my dates for the... this was a very nice and charming hotel . Only 8-9 rooms so it feels very serene and the rooms and courtyard themselves have a very nice romantic feel to them . Location is great as its only a 5-10 minute walk to the night market. Staff are very friendly ( one of the ladies actually woke up extra early... More
