The look of the cafe was benign as we're the nondescript attempt to decorate. More importantly, let's get to the food. The bai kra praw that I ordered, thai style, was swimming in so much gravy, it resembled a sinking boat on the Chao phraya. The chicken was dry and tasteles, and flavour of the dish was ,let's just say... More

Stay here if rest of town is out of rooms. I stayed when it was tight and I got a good rate for air con room. U will need it if u got a room in the back to drown out the noise of machines in the back of the townhouse. A friend with fan room was not so lucky.

Also, rooms are available at 5 minutes walk from the restaurant. They are a good budget option (250-300 bath for double bedroom), big room and separate bathroom, real clean! PC is a really... More

We dream about the food at Thai Thai Kitchen. Nothing compares for price and quality. The staff is more than helpful and friendly. PC arranged day trips and a trip into Laos down the Mekong to Luang Prabang. Looking forward to being there in December. Did not stay in the rooms. Doug and Barb from Washington State.

This place is extremely good value for those on a tight budget. The rooms and showers are as clean as you would expect for a budget guest house, pretty good. Of course you will need to share the toilet/bathroom but it is very clean. For a guest house the rooms are quite spacious too! The location is relatively good, close... More
