Room was lovely size as was the bathroom. As a girl I found it a little bit dark and could've done with another bed side table but that's just me being picky. Bed was comfortable and air con was very cool, particularly after a boiling hot day seeing the sites. Service was great, Oh really helped us out with telling... More

Very tired furnishings. Not very clean. Spider webs in shower. Towels looked dirty and moldy. Furniture had tears in vinyl. Broken window and blinds in bathroom No hot water for several showers we took. Extremely noisy. They were jack-hammering below our room during our stay for several days. So loud it sounded like they were in the room. Drowned out... More

We have just stayed at Buri gallery house for 5 nights. Overall the hotel is in a good location, easy walk to temples and restaurants and around old city. Whilst we were there the coffee shop and then the pool were renovated so it was very dusty and noisy. The renovation under our rooms were so loud and disruptive.you could... More

Lovely staff and good breakfast (only à la carte, four choices), great location. In the middle of the sunday market, tour operators around to plan your holiday and a 7/11 close BUT cleanliness is not their priority; we've been staying here for five days and everyday they brought us dirty towels and never replaced them after we complained. The walls... More

Close to great places to eat, temples and markets. Day staff were also friendly and attentive. Stayed in the villa for 2 nights which was clean and spacious but the door would not shut properly and was secured simply with a paddlock. Stayed in Delux room for another 3 nights which was clean and comfortable but very noisy. Breakfast was... More

The staff were great especially Oh who was amazing,. helped us with tours, restaurant recommendations, interesting walks and places to stop. Very disappointed with this hotel. I live in Thailand and have stayed in Chiang Mai many times and have stayed in far better rooms for a third of the price. The room was small and dark, with the wooden panelling on the wall and ceiling coming away in quite a few places. Two plug sockets fell off the wall. The... More

We stayed for a week in January and had a wonderful stay. The staff is so nice and accommodating (thank you Oh), the breakfast is very nice, and the rooms are super comfortable. The location is right in the old city so it was very easy to get around. The hotel will help you arrange any tourist sightseeing or rentals... More

Really, what makes this hotel worthwhile is the staff, Ohn in particular. She is the person who deals with correspondence and books activities. She is unfailingly smiling and positive, and since she once was a tour guide herself, she knows the area inside out. A true polyglot, she speaks Thai, English, French and Cantonese. However, this is a three-star hotel,... More

The location is great and we really enjoyed the old city of Chiang Mai, but the hotel itself was very disappointing. We booked a paid for a Villa - in reality this was just an upstairs room. The room was large and decorated nicely, although the furniture looked really cheap and some still had the plastic wrapping on. The main... More
