Buri Gallery House is a pleasant guest house within the walls of old Chiang Mai. One of the wats is less than a block away, and others are within short walking distance. The Night Market and busier areas of the city are more of a trek, but still walkable, or an easy tuk tuk ride. Our room was essentially on... more

We very much enjoyed our three nights at the Buri Gallery House, but there is good and bad. The good is that the room includes breakfast (which is very good), there is free internet in the lobby, and the staff was very courteous and gracious in giving recommendations and helping with our stay. The rooms and the overall facility is... more

This hotel is a complete rip-off! In a town full of lovely cheap boutique hotels this place promises everything but delivers nothing. The "traditional style rooms" are shabby and cramped, the bathroom was dirty with smelling drains and the "quiet relaxing atmosphere" that was promised felt as relaxing as a night in a bangkok jail. The bamboo walls are so... more

Convenient to all the Chiang Mai sights and sounds either on foot or short tuk tuk ride. Staff competent and friendly. Breakfast lacked diversity but was tasty nonetheless. Room small but was sufficient for two. Two computers located in the lobby for Internet access but none in our room. Nice quiet garden area for relaxation. Good value for the money.... more

We stayed 4 nights in this traditional Lanna styled small hotel with amazing staff. They really gave us the feeling of being welcome at any time and for any matter. The hotel is located in the center of the old town, so we could reach any sightseeing attraction in walking distance. The red cap taxis also get you around very... more

Hi, the hotel is really nice and comfortable and the personal is fantastic. We enjoyed the stay there a lot, just i would suggest the breakfast, doing it more continental with fruit and cereals. regards Ana more

Small Thai run hotel. Great furnishings and ultra friendly staff who were very helpful to us for booking the next stage of our trip. Computer with internet in room with good fast web connection. View from balcony of the temple Wat Phra Singh - one of the most beautiful in Chang Mai. Kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in room, fridge,... more

The hotel is at the road end of sunday market and just infront of a famous temple "Wat Phra Singh" but quite far from Warorot Market and Night Bazaar. It is not a big hotel nor a resort, just a small building with a small garden and a small cafe. If you're fancy to thai decoration, then, this is for... more

We stayed for 4 days at Buri Gallery House during May. Buri is a quirky cool place with lots of Thai art and Buddha heads. The beds are comfy and each room has a tv , air con and computer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt that the place was more of an up market back packers... more
