Close to great places to eat, temples and markets. Day staff were also friendly and attentive. Stayed in the villa for 2 nights which was clean and spacious but the door would not shut properly and was secured simply with a paddlock. Stayed in Delux room for another 3 nights which was clean and comfortable but very noisy. Breakfast was... More

we stayed for fiive nights in late January. it suited us very well, great location at quieter side of old city. The staff were great especially Oh who was amazing,. helped us with tours, restaurant recommendations, interesting walks and places to stop. Always time to chat and provide advice and answer questions. The breakfast was very good and served on... More

Very disappointed with this hotel. I live in Thailand and have stayed in Chiang Mai many times and have stayed in far better rooms for a third of the price. The room was small and dark, with the wooden panelling on the wall and ceiling coming away in quite a few places. Two plug sockets fell off the wall. The... More

We stayed for a week in January and had a wonderful stay. The staff is so nice and accommodating (thank you Oh), the breakfast is very nice, and the rooms are super comfortable. The location is right in the old city so it was very easy to get around. The hotel will help you arrange any tourist sightseeing or rentals... More

Really, what makes this hotel worthwhile is the staff, Ohn in particular. She is the person who deals with correspondence and books activities. She is unfailingly smiling and positive, and since she once was a tour guide herself, she knows the area inside out. A true polyglot, she speaks Thai, English, French and Cantonese. However, this is a three-star hotel,... More

The location is great and we really enjoyed the old city of Chiang Mai, but the hotel itself was very disappointing. We booked a paid for a Villa - in reality this was just an upstairs room. The room was large and decorated nicely, although the furniture looked really cheap and some still had the plastic wrapping on. The main... More

My daughter and I stayed two nights ago and found it welcoming. We were there very early but they let us sleep in a spare room, shower etc. Villa 5 (upstairs) is definitely the room to get. Breakfast was average, but you had a good choice. Beds were soooo hard though. This was their only downfall. Very friendly staff who... More

Feel at home the whole time we stay here. Would recommend it to anyone who comes to Chiang Mai and wants to live within the old town. The major places of interest are quite accessible. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They can also help on your trip planning and local reservations.

Hotel does not add up to pictures. Rooms are dark and gloomy worn furniture. Only window small in the door to balcony. Holes in bed sheet, numerous holes, just like my son's pet rat used to make. Regret that I booked it. So bad I left after day one, but paid for three nights.

We stayed for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buri Gallery. I would definitely recommend you book one of the Villa rooms - we had villa 5 which was an upstairs room facing the pool and breakfast area. The villas are all pool and courtyard facing and not on the road side, so not noisy and are... More
