I flew in to Chiang Mai late in the evening and was booked to travel by bus the next afternoon to Chiang Rai for a conference. All I wanted was a place to crash; but one of my Thai students selected this place for me, and it was a treat. Check-in was relaxed in a room decorated with local art... More

I came to Thailand for the first time in September 2014, and chose Chiang Mai, imagining that being in the north the heat would be bearable. I was so wrong! If you don't enjoy relentless daily temperatures of 32 deg C, with 99% humidity (except when it’s raining = 100%), then don't come in the wet season! But I digress.... More

So we had booked a deluxe room but despite its spacious size and little balcony, the walls were paper thin and we could tell right away that our noisy neighbors would be a problem. Luckily we were able to upgrade for our entire stay (thank you to the lady who moved some stuff around for us!) and our villa with... More

We stayed here our first several nights in Chiangmai Mai. We just walked up and hoped for availability. The employees were very kind and extremely helpful, assisting us with other travel plans and recommending things to do. Our room was decent. A good value. It was just a little bit dark, no windows to the outside. The rooms on the... More

Very nice guest house in a great location. Room was small, but the size was enough for our needs. We liked its style, with wood everywhere around. The only drawback was air conditioning directly above the bed. Staff was very friendly, offered assistance and advice regarding sightseeing and adventures available in the area. I definitelly reccommend visiting Chiang Mai and... More

We stayed 3 nights while visiting Chaing Mai and had a great time. The hotel is super clean, with a boutique feel about it and a nice swimming pool for when it gets too hot. It's located in the best part of town too, by the temple and on the main road with all the cafés, bars & restaurants in... More

Spent last week at the Buri in Chiang Mai. Needed to get away from nightmarish home renos and the Buri hit the spot. Read every review out there before booking and went for it. I arrived and was greeted with a high smile and welcome and then handed the keys to my sanctuary for the next 9 days. Lots of... More

Unexpected upgrade to a villa at reception upon check in was a nice surprise. Spacious room with full size bath, great lighting, awsome bed and super comfy latex pillows. Perfect garden balcony adjoining the room. Will definitely return. Thank you Buri

We stayed at buri gallery house for 3 nights in the villaroom. The room is beautiful and clean. Only strange smell in bathroom. We had to fix the computer before we had internet on it. We asked the staff earlier to fix it, but they never did. Breakfast is very basic. At the hotel is a very friendly lady who... More
