Rux Thai is in a quiet neighborhood just minutes walk to night bazzare and Thai pai gate. Room was cozy and clean with shower area seperate from toilet area. I thought it was perfect for the price and would stay here again!!

Very hot showers which is good as cold in chiang mai at night. Good fast wifi. Flat screen tvs. People are very friendly and extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to help me when had some trouble. They speak excellent English, and very friendly... Make the effort to smile and say hello. Pick u up free from Airport, very... More

Don't trust the picture of the room they will show you at the reception, the real room is much more sparse and depressing. No window in the room, just in the bathroom. No hot water. No refund of the fees when we checked out the same day due to these defects, of course. Looking at the architecture, this house apparently... More

We knew that it was a budget hotel in a country not known for cleanliness or service. We've been to Thailand before and know not to compare these places to western hotels. But this hotel really sucks on all levels. Sadly, we booked for an entire week and were stuck with it. The rooms are incredibly noisy due to the... More

We stayed here for 6 nights, was clean and spacious. Beds comfy. Shower area could be a bit cleaner, but for £11 a night what do you expect?! The hotels laundry service is expensive and there is a couple of places just outside hotel, for fraction of price. Reception lady didn't really smile, but then again we didn't have to... More

Rux Thai has a great staff and lots of quiet rooms to rest in. I enjoyed staying here, but the only drawback is that it's down an alley that has lots of bars that could be noisy. It's about a 10 minute walk to the night market and it's a fun place to shop.

This guesthouse is in a great location, just over the road from the old town, easy access to the food markets and all the main sights in the old town. Very clean and both air con and fan. It was down a side road so perfect if you want something quite. We only stayed one night as we soon realised... More

The guest house is located at a quiet lane off the happening bar area- this is the route I normally take. There's actually 2 other routes to the guest house - one which leads to the busy road where you'll find the canal/moat that surrounds the city of Chiang Mai. I never explored the other route. The room. My friend... More

Stayed here for 8 nights mainly for the good location. It was off Loi Kroh and less then 10 minutes walk to Thapae Gate. Great exercise walking to see all the beautiful Wats in the Old City. I felt safe even walking at night. The wifi in the room was excellent too. The reception may appear unsmiling at times but... More

Nice room, cleaner comes in everyday, minibar, fan and air con however, shower is always semi cold, not so nice if you are there for colder days. Staff are friendly but couldn't arrange transport and other basic services. Overall you pay for a nice room nothing else. It is in the middle of the sex bar area, walking to town... More
