I really enjoyed staying here with my two friends for the week while we were in Chiang Mai. The rooms were massive and clean, although there was a funky smell coming from the drains in the bathroom (hopefully they have fixed it by now) Otherwise I would definitely recommend staying here. It is walking distance to the night market which... More

Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were ok but could have been cleaner. Good size room, we were next to the elevator but no problem with noise. Bed was comfortable and we had a good couple of nights sleep. Breakfast was included and was good with eggs cooked to your preference.

We were put onto this hotel by a friend and did not read anything about it at all. Our taxi found the place ok from the airport which is amazing as it is hidden away in a little back street. We checked in and were more than happy with the room, it looked clean, it was modern and had a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff at reception were friendly and checking in and out was painless. The room that I got was in the process of being redecorated but, it was still very clean. I didn't hear any noise at night time, it was so quiet. Breakfast was good with amazing poached eggs.

Stayed here as part of a tour, but was very surprised at just how nice this hotel ended up being. After weeks of hostels and budget rooms, this was a breath of fresh air. Room was a great size, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Staff's English wasn't fantastic but could more or less understand me, and helped me... More

After the night train from Bangkok, the Mandala House was a nice respite. They have a lovely breakfast. It was a convenient walk to the Night Market and the main street area. We definitely felt like we were in Thailand. The decor is rustic southeast Asian and there were some beautiful pottery pieces around. You could get wifi in the... More

We booked this place without researching (which we never do) and out of desperation at a travel agent in the Bangkok train station! First mistake. We ended up paying 2 times the rack rate and we had to move rooms twice due to leaking air conditioners (floods)! Management seemed indifferent about our concerns! On the plus side we did have... It's a little difficult to find off the main road, but that makes it quiet in the evenings. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff is very helpful and friendly (although their English is not the best so it can take some time to explain what you want. Breakfast is basic, but good. The location is convenient and... More

Room was fine but it lacked a window you can open,. Room are fairly clean and comfortable, location is centrally located but difficult to find if walking. Water pressure was fine but shower didn't work and flooded the room. location just off a Main Street is quiet. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast seemed to be expensive and generally the... More

Remembered I was here with my friends, it was really functional room just like studio apartment. There were bathtub and shower, pretty smelly from plump. We were unlucky to stay here when lots of noisy Chinese tourists in...could not sleep well What we expect on more than get a shelter for a night an move on other places We had... More
