My friend and I didn't stay here but booked a trek and a cooking class through Eagle House. Both were wonderful! We really enjoyed the Trek- one of the highlights of our Chiang Mai trip (aside from Songkran, of course)! The cooking class was fantastic. We ended up being the only ones and had a blast going to the market... More

We came here after reading the great experiences people had with the treks here. For 250Bht the rooms are some of the cheapest and best value for money (though the shower doesn't have much pressure) you'll find in Chiang Mai. Annette and her staff are very friendly and helpful, making this a great place to stay, away from the busy... More

My partner and I stayed at Eagle House for 5 nights and were very pleasantly surprised. It's only 370 THB a night for A/C and hot water. The beds aren't very comfortable but you won't find much cheaper in Chiang Mai so worth putting up with! We booked some tours through the front desk too. We did the Chilli Club... More

I loved my stay. nothing fancy, but clean and quaint. decent wifi, good menu... felt very at home. perfect location close enough to the old city, yet on a delightfully quiet street to come home to after a busy day or night in the traffic. nice setting to meet people at with lots of picnic tables, and friendly workers. i... I was going to arrive late into Chiang Mia so I emailed Annette during the day and she got back to me soon after confirming a room and with the address in thai for me to show a taxi driver. If you arrive at a sensible time they pick you up. When I got to the place the night security... More

Stayed for three nights here. Service was very good and honest, sprite is a lovely guy and the owner Annette was chatty too. The food was average and priced fairly, it was a very DIY kind of place with honest book keeping of what you bought etc... Set back from the main road so not too much noise during the... More

We came to Eagle house to book a tour, but also had to book 1 more night in Chang Mai. We asked to see a room before we reserved it. It is a pretty cheap place to stay, so ones expectations can't be too high. The room was decent for the price, but the bed was harder than the bamboo... More

I came to Eagle house many years ago and decided to revisit Annette on my recent trip there. The place has been transformed into a little Gem. Annette explained she has now closed Eagle 2, which was the on other side of the moat and has brought (thank goodness) The Chilli Club, to Eagle 1. Mr Sutt has been running... More

I went to Eagle House because of the reviews in Lonely Planet and came back again towards the end of my five week visit in Thailand. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and showers warm. The staff very friendly and helpful and the food low cost and good. There is a large comfortable leafy area within the confines where you... More
